The Prince
Kagura was watching through the window of the Red Resha, deep in thought, trying to calm her heart despite all what happened that day.
After watching Gritta die, she somehow felt a sudden fear that even with Right's words at the festival, it didn't seem to vanish.
-What are you doing here this late, Kagura?- Right asked, while he was just getting out of the bathroom; the little girl greeted him with a shy smile as she watched how he walked towards her, with a small grin in his face. "He knows" She thought, Right know her pretty well to tell that something was upsetting her, and being the good guy he was, he did everything to try to make her feel better. He was that kind of guy.
- I was just thinking...But is pretty late so I'm going to bed. Good n...-.
- Wait!- Right catched her by her hand before she tried to escape from him, he wasn't going to allow her to take her worries to herself like that. He just couldn't watch her so sad.
- Ne Kagura, I know why you're so sad, so worried, but as I said before, you have all of us, you have me...My support of course!- He tried to correct himself, a small blush was starting to cover his face - Actually, when we fell into that pool, I remembered you playing as a princess, climbing onto me and calling me your prince...-.
- I d-did that?-.
- Yeah- Right answered her- So since I remembered that, I made a promise, that I'd protect you at all costs, just like the prince of your stories! So don't worry Kagura, I'll be by your side, we'll get through this so we can be always...Together!- Right didn't mind his stupid red face, he just wanted to let her know how he felt about the whole situation.
- I'm pretty excited you know? 'Cause we don't know what kind of challenges are waiting for us in the future, but despite that, I'm sure that if I'll face it alongside with everyone, we'll gain our memories and then fix everything!-.
Kagura sighed with relief, and then looked him at his eyes.
- Right, that's really amazing, how you said what you feel, and how much peace that brings to my heart...Thank you, like a prince, you just rescued this dumb and scared girl. As long as all of us fight together, we'll succeed, that's a promise!-.
- Isn't that much better, Kagura?-Right give her a big, sweet smile that made her to want to embrace him, why he was so tender towards her, she didn't know.
Slowly she approached to where he was standing, spreading her arms and hugging him, so soft and tender it made him wonder if what she was doing wasn't a dream.
-Thank you, Right...-.
-Ah, don't worry, I'll be here with you as long as you need me to-.
He timidly hugged her back, leaning his chin into her head. He always felt so much happiness being with her, and all the smiles he gave her meant so much, that he wondered if that deep emotion for her was more than just friendship.
He didn't know what the answer was, but he was more than pleased to try to find out.
