The Blazing Light Is Too Bright For Me By: Animal Lover 10

I sat straight up in my bed and began to yell "DAD, WHY IS MY ROOM FULL OF-" I stopped right there and ran out the door with my backpack and Velvets leash. I ran outside and grabbed my dog, and ran into the stable. There I found dad bursting toward the house, but stopped when he saw me right in front of him.

"There you are, we got to get you and the horses out of here!" He yelled louldly so I could here him over the noise.

"What about Shadow and Moon Light?" I asked. They were two stallions that we had captured while they were hurt, and they had not been trained yet, so we could not ride them

"Either, they will let us ride them, or we will have to set them free." my father told me. I had felt the pain in his voice when he said that because it had been hard to save them, and he did not want to let them die.

We ran back to the stables and saddled our five horses quickly, but sadly Shadow and Moon Light did not let us ride them… not yet. Together father and I had let all the horses out of there stables, and jumped on ours. We ran straight to the woods, even though, that is the worst place to go while in a state like this, but we had no other way to go. We were swarmed by trees. We followed Moon Light and Shadow into the forest, making sure they would not get hurt. We stopped when we saw a light, far off in the distance. We at first thought it was a car. We followed it and it turned out to be a house porch light.

"Dad, we got to warn the people ins-" I stopped when I heard a horse scream in with fright in the stables. Dad reached out for me to make me stop, but I managed to get free of his arm. I ran toward the stables, while dad ran to the house. I saw a black stallion, and a foul by his side.
