This is how I found the world of Pokémon. I was tinkering with a machine that I was hoping to turn into a teleporter. (A.N.: The teleporter looks like the teleporter from Kino der Toten minus the big Nazi symbol on it) I whacked a part with my squeaky hammer, and the machine whirred to life. "SUCCESS!" I shouted as the machine buzzed and whirred. I set the coordinates to a place where little to no harm could come to me: the Johto region of Pokémon.
BEEP! went the machine as I pressed a button and jumped in the teleporter. The teleporter clattered and clanked. Uh-oh I thought as the machine started to shake. Then, with a brilliant flash of white, I lost consciousness.
Ouch. I thought as I woke up. my head felt like it was full of wet cotton. I sat up and looked around. The skyline of Goldenrod City was visible in the north, and Ilex Forest to the south. "I should probably get to Goldenrod before I get ambushed by a wild pokemon." I said to myself.
You mean like me? I heard in my head as I was jumped from behind.
"AAAARRRRRGGGGHHH!" I yelled as I was knocked to the ground. I thrashed about for a second before getting up and looking at my assailant.
A Ralts! I thought. It probably sensed my emotions.
Yep! it said/thought There was a flash of light, and you suddenly appeared out of nowhere!
"That was me." I said. "I teleported here. I don't actually live here. I'm from a different dimension."
Well,the Ralts said, It's pretty lonely here. You see, I'm the only Ralts for miles. Will you be my trainer?
"Sure." I said "but first you need a name. Are you a boy or a girl?"
I'm a girl. the Ralts replied.
"In that case, I will call you Lisa." I said to her.
I like that name. Lisa replied.
"I don't have any Pokeballs, so we'll have to go into Goldenrod to get some." I told her.
And thus, our grand adventure began!
