Summary: Morning.
Sunlight creeps over sleep-warmed flesh, reaching teasing fingers out to play over smooth golden skin. It dances over the sensual curve of spine that ends in shadow and twisted white cotton. Gentle rays slant over high cheekbones, highlighting sharp vulpine features relaxed from sleep. Light plays over thin lips no longer pressed into a tense slash. Instead, they are slightly upturned into the beginnings of a smile.
Two golden eyes peer muzzily out from under silver bangs, dream-fogged and crinkled at the edges in pleasantly surprised greeting. Mussed tresses are tinted blond by the soft light pouring into the room. A pair of furry ears crown the silver head: perked forward, alert to the unexpected company even if the rest of Youko Kurama is still half-asleep.
A strong slender hand reaches out over the sheets towards the calloused fingers resting at the edge of the mattress. The wards wrapped around the fingers are a dirty gray, as if the other has traveled hard and fast to get there.
