Even though she should have been use to the darkness and quietness of her prison that never stopped her from hating it anyway. Even after all these 17 years of loneliness. This was the biggest thing she loathed, the solitude. Never being able to talk to people was hard especially for her. The only thing that entertained her was her thoughts which usually drifted to her memories and her past. She cringed and scolded herself from doing it again.

Idiot! Don't you know by now! Don't think about the past. Especially about them.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of running footsteps coming towards her.

Who could that be? It isn't time for me to get food or deal with my personal business yet.

While curious about this she felt restlessness about the situation.

Something's wrong. Why do I feel uneasy about this?

When heard the footsteps finally reach her and stop, her heart thudded against her chest. She didn't have the courage to look up to see who it was. Then she heard them unlock her cell. She started to panic inside herself and tried to put distance between her and the strangers. She hated herself for her being a coward. She never was someone who got scared easily but she couldn't help herself. She hated the elders who brought her to this hellhole. When the stranger stood in front of her, she didn't look at them but at their feet. The person was wearing ninja shoes and pants. She then looked to the ground stubborn to not look up. She heard then bend down and reach for her chin to make her look up. She cringed against the touch but was weak against their forcefulness. When she finally set her gaze against the strangers face she gasped and was shocked beyond belief. As she felt herself fade away to the darkness of her mind there was only one thought on her mind: How?

Two Days Ago…

It was late evening at the headquarters of the Shinobi Alliance. The Hokage was tired. Of Course she was tired. This bloody war was making her exhausted. She hated that the war was dragging along. Even with the help of Naruto and Killer Bee did not stop the other side from advancing. Plus the escalating number of casualties and injured made it worse. As she was getting a headache from the whole thing she heard a knock on her door that made her grumble and get up to yell at the person but stopped herself when she saw who were her visitors were. She signed eternally.

What do these fools want?

Her guests turned out to be Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane.

"Tsunade we have something important to talk to you about" Said the dead serious Mitokado.

"Actually not just you but the other Kages as well. It's urgent that we speak to all of you" declared the expressionless Koharu.

The Godaime was considering what they just said. She is curious as to what they are planning. Something big if it concerns the other Kages.

"All right I will try to get the other Kages here however I hope it's not about a trivial matter because then you would be wasting our time on this, after all right now as you should know we are currently in a war against the toughest threat we ever had" Tsunade replied rudely to see if that will get a reaction out of them.

However there wasn't one at all and she stood in silence at the surprise response she is getting.

They are serious about this.

Tsunade was actually a little nervous all of a sudden. She felt a little dread came over her. She knew that whatever they are going to say will change everything. She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

When the Kages finally arrived at the headquarters after receiving the message from Lady Tsunade about the mysterious meeting that the Konoha elders are requested, most were irritated.

"Just what is this about? We don't have the time to waste here for foolishness!" roared the Raikage.

"As much as I hate to agree the Raikage is right. What do you have to say that is important?" the Tsuchikage said sardonically.

"Now, Now let's be courteous and polite and hear them out" the Mizukage said slyly.

Gaara remained silent throughout the exchanges and waited patiently for meeting to begin. Tsunade was fuming inside but kept her thoughts to herself. The Elders were once again silent by these rude comments towards them which made the others realize that they were serious. Once everyone was silent, Homura was the one who spoke first.

"As you all know this war is serious business and Koharu and I discussed this deeply and finally decided to reveal something to you all"

The Kages were tensed about this. What they said seemed like they are implying that they had a secret and that this secret is connected to the war. Which caused Tsunade to stand up immediately and looked coldly at them.

"What have you been hiding from me?" replied Tsunade deadly.

The elders did not stir or even blink an eye. Koharu spoke up finally and replied calmly.

"Please sit down princess we are trying to tell you now something that can change this war for our benefit."

Tsunade was furious but sat down again and nodded to Homura to continue.

Homura then returned to his speech.

"You all have heard about the tale of the Sage of the six paths from Madara. You might assume that the tale is false but we are here to tell you the truth. When the Sage of the Six paths was about to die he told his sons about a vision and prophecy he had"

The Kages were all listen intently and quietly so to not interrupt his speech. Tsunade was beginning to feel dread overwhelm her. She knew about the supposed prophecy the Sage had told according to legend. She knew now that the Sage was real thanks to Madara but she was praying that this part of the tale was not true. If it was…

The other kages also knew this part of the legend and the Tsuchikage was beginning to grin.

If this is going where I think this is, it is about to become interesting…..
