It's only been a few days since the group had reunited with Carol, Tyreese and Little Ass Kicker. The days grew longer as Daryl only thought about one thing, Beth Greene. He hasn't talked much since he told Rick that she was just gone. How could he? He felt responsible for Beth have gone missing in the first place. Maggie told Daryl it wasn't his fault but he refused to believe that. She was probably angry with him and she just didn't want to cause problems. He was tired of everyone pitying him. He went out looking for Beth everyday. He would until he found her. Today seemed to last longer than it should have and it was now time for bed. Daryl would do the same thing tomorrow, go searching for Beth.

Daryl woke up to the sun shining in his eyes. He got up and went for some breakfast. He had to be ready for anything. Snatching his crossbow to leave Carol appeared outta nowhere. "I'm going with you today Daryl." She said. "mmmhhmm" he mumbled in return. Not wanting to argue with Carol. They both headed out to search for the blonde girl that Daryl lost. Carol didn't say much because she could feel the tension between them. Carol wasn't jealous of Beth but she did see Daryl first. Daryl took their relationship more as a best friend kind. Carol understood that, She was just happy that he finally let someone in. Whether it was Beth or someone else, he wasn't alone. Beth was so hopeful and Carol envied her for all the hope she had. How did she keep it goin? Carol wanted to know.

Carol and Daryl were walking around a corner and there was yelling. The voices were muffled so they couldn't make out the words being said. They hid behind a big white van. Daryl peeking over the van, he could see an old car. It had a cross on the back of the car like the one that took Beth. Daryl wasn't sure if she was in there or not. "Let me go." Daryl heard a voice say, not just any voice it was Beth. "Beth?" Daryl yelled. "Daryl is that you?" Beth croaked out. Before Daryl could go running for her the car screeched away. Carol hopped in the driver's seat and started the old van. Daryl jumped in a yelled for Carol to follow the car. Daryl watched the car in front of him as they were losing them. "Step on it Carol!" Daryl grumbled. Not wanting to cause problems Carol did what he said. They were now on a bridge trying to take a shortcut to catch up but as they approached the the other side there was walkers everywhere. Carol slammed on the brakes and turned the wheel but they were going to fast the van crashed into the rail and went right over the side.

Daryl's head smash against the dashboard as the van hit the cement road. His head was spinning and he looked to his left and he could see Carol not moving. Trying to keep his eyes open but it was hard. He was losing a lot of blood. He could smell the smoke of the van burning. Daryl closed his eyes but a voice brought him back. "Daryl, baby you can do this. I know you are a fighter and you're not gonna die on me." Beth's voice filled his ears. He opened his eyes and there stood Beth in her same clothes and cowboy boots from when he last saw her. "Beth, I thought I would never see you again." he croaked out. "I'm here Daryl and I ain't goin anywhere, But you need to get up. You need to help Carol and make sure you guys both get out safe. Daryl you have too. I am counting on you to do this." Beth whispered. "Beth I can't." he coughed. "Daryl, you can. You have to, do it for me Daryl please. I can't lose you." Beth pleaded. Daryl slowly moved listening to Beth. He got up but Beth wasn't there. Although she may not have really been there it was nice to hear her voice and see her beautiful blue eyes. He missed them so much. He grabbed Carol and dragged her out of the van. Carol was unconscious. Not knowing what to do he started to shake her lightly. Carol's eyes opened, "Daryl where's Beth?" Daryl looked at the ground as he answered "We lost the car and they still have her."
