AN: In this story, I am assuming that Emmett still loves the smell of certain foods that he liked as a human. If you can understand that, then enjoy!

"Yo, what's up, pup's?" Emmett howled, coming into the campsite like a cyclone.

"Nothing much, parasite," I growled at the bear of a leech. "So who joined you today?"

He continued with the teasing, but something happened when all of us humans/werewolves gathered around the bonfire, ready to eat.

Bella, Alice, Jasper, Edward, and Emmett were at the bonfire. All of the werewolves were, too. Billy, still under the prejudice that all vampires are evil, refused to come, and another problem was that because of him feeling this way, we had to find a safe spot to hang out. A neutral territory, if you will.

We had each brought with us something to share, those of us that could eat, kind of like a pot luck, and everything was still warm, it was hard for anything to be cold around such a huge group of "space heaters." I had brought hot dogs-oh the irony-, Quill had brought Macaroni and Cheese, home baked, Embry some Pizza with lots of veggies, just how he likes it, Sam had made some of that rice with that Chinese sweet and sour sauce, Bella some mushroom ravioli, Paul some hamburgers, and so on. Least be known, we had a lot of good food.

Of course, Embry had brought Melt, the dog I had given him a while ago, who was currently trying to play with Alice, who was surprised because animals tended to stay away from "their kind." (AN: If you don't know about Melt, check out my ONESHOT of From One Dog To Another.)

Anyways, we were about to eat, everything was set up and smelling fantastic, when Emmett started to growl.

"What's the matter Emmett?" Edward and I asked, at the same time, immediately alert.

"Nothing. I wish I could eat that stuff," he mumbled. I'm sure if he could have, he would have cried.

Alice looked at me, and we had the same thoughts, I could tell, so I began to eat. I made the MMMMMMMMHHHS and AHHHHHHHHHS, and I could just tell Emmett was about to burst with fury, and envy. I could tell he missed this part of being human the most.

"This is so GOOD," I murmured around a mouthful of pizza.

He groaned, "AW man."

Everyone started to laugh, looking at this humungous guy, groaning, watering at the mouth for the ability to eat food. Alice and Edward looked like they were about to keel over from laughing so hard, and Bella just stood there, laughing and staring at Emmett.

Finally, after all the food was eaten, he stood up, and sniffed in a mopey, poor me way, but also in a smell the air way.

"I can still smell it!" He cried out. I laughed at him.

By then Alice and Bella decided it was time to go home, not because Bella was tired or anything, but because Emmett looked ready to attack me. I laughed again.
