A/N: Okay, before I get going on homework, I have a few more things I wanted to get up.

Fight for Him

The redhead stared cold and hard at her cousin. "I don't care what you say!" she yelled furiously, rage glowing in her features. Her emerald eyes glowed with a silent blaze of dangerous rage.

"Gwen, stop before this gets too out of hand," insisted her cousin, putting his hands up as if in surrender. But he wasn't giving up yet. "I know that you still care fo-"

"No, Ben," she snarled, grabbing the collar of his shirt and pressing him up against a wall. A furious hiss erupted from her throat. "You don't understand. You don't understand love and you never will. Because I love Kevin. I love him." Her eyes glazed over for a moment with utter heart shattering grief that threatened to consume her in a wave. "You don't understand..."

Her cousin's hard eyes softened. He didn't understand. And he pitied his cousin. He felt for her. He knew she was aching and that was why she was so bent on protecting her beloved boyfriend. "Gwen, please just stop. Just for a few seconds, please." He put a hand on her shoulder.

Silently and reluctantly, Gwen put her cousin down from his place pinned up on the wall like the donkey at the party of a five-year-old child. The pursed look of pure hatred sill remained on her usually placid features.

"I know that you love him, alright? But you said it yourself," reminded Ben with sad eyes and a darkened heart, "that he was going to kill us." He quietly began to smooth out his jacket from where she had grabbed the t-shirt beneath it. "I hate to do it as much as you do, but we have to put him down."

"I'll fight for him," she sobbed, finally breaking down and falling into her cousin's arms. He caught her as she collapsed. "I'll fight for him if it's the last thing I do." Tears had been burning in her eyes, clouding up her vision like heavy snow on a cold winter day. Her emerald orbs were still fearful, terrified of losing her one and only true love. "You can't stop me from loving him." She wanted to shove her cousin, but she couldn't even find the strength to do that. Her body was so numb with the realization that they would have to murder Kevin to keep from being killed themselves.

"I won't stop you from loving him and I won't stop you from trying to find some sort of cure," said Ben, clutching his cousin tightly to his chest like a newborn child to its mother. "I won't stop you if you fight for him."

She knew what this was coming to. She tightened her grip on his arm and her whole body racked with painful, exhausting sobs. Tears flooded from her eyes and cascaded down her cheeks in the same fashion as a waterfall. Gwen stuck close to Ben, hating where his words were going.

"But you have to know that if you fight on his side and against me, you're only going to be putting yourself in my way and I'll have to take you down to." Ben felt his heart grow heavy and his stomach twist up in knots at the thought of having to kill his own cousin. Pain reared up in his mind and he cringed away from it, weak as ever.

"Go ahead," she whispered to him, clinging to Ben as if he were the only person left on earth. "Kill me too." Heart wrenching sobs shook her small, frail body. Without Kevin, she had become an empty hull of nothing. "Because if I help you kill him, I'll have to kill myself anyways." The trails of moisture on her cheeks glistened when she looked up at her cousin. "I can't live without Kevin."
