Upon waking, Severus blinked several times and then sat up. Of course that ridiculous boy was gone. Took one look at me, sober and in the light of day, and changed his mind. "Figures," he grumbled to himself.

The dark-haired man pulled the blanket back, and readied himself for the cold that would come with leaving the bed.

Just then, the door opened, and Severus forgot about the cold. Forgot about his empty bed, his grumbling, and previous dark thoughts. Because, standing in the doorway with a tray of food, wearing nothing, but what he was born in, was Charlie Weasley.

"Sorry I wasn't here when you woke up. I really wanted to see that. Guess I'll just have to stay another night," the redhead said lightly with a grin.

Severus blinked and looked at the tray and then back at Charlie. "You made breakfast."

"Yeah. Molly Weasley style." Severus stared at him blankly. "You know. Enough food to feed an entire army." Charlie grinned wider and set the tray down on the bed. "So how adverse are you to morning breath?"

"Huh?" Severus said, realizing how inarticulate he must seem.

Charlie was close now, only two feet away. "I was hoping for a good morning kiss." He closed the distance between them, and laid his hands on Severus' exposed thighs. "So what do you say."

Remembering his vocabulary, Severus breathed, "I'd be amenable to that suggestion."

Charlie leaned in and pressed his rough, cracked lips against Severus' own smooth, silky ones. He pulled away and smiled. "How about some breakfast?"

Severus was disappointed, but hid it as he nodded in acquiescence.

Charlie smiled then, with his whole body. His face lit up and the rest of him seemed to be glowing too. "We can share a shower after."

Severus finally smiled back. "That sounds perfect."
