A/N: So this is a little scene from the roleplay I'm doing with a couple friends on gaia online. Declan is my friend's OC and she's in a relationship with Tony. We decided that because Tony got the plague and it scarred his lungs as bad as it did that at times he probably needs an inhaler. In this fic they've just gotten back from a call in which Jeanne is a suspect and Jeanne got into a fight with Declan. The whole situation stressed Tony out enough to throw him into an attack so this is after the start of the attack. Anyway Enjoy!

Declan walked into the bullpen and was concerned when she didn't see Tony anywhere when she looked around. She walked over to Sammy's desk just as Sammy glanced over in the direction of the washroom.
"Do you know where Tony is?" Declan asked when Sammy looked back from the washroom.
"He was having a little trouble breathing and asked me to grab your purse for him then he headed for the washroom almost 5 minutes ago," Sammy said, glancing down at her computer screen to make sure she had the time right, "I was just about to go check on him."
"Thanks, I'll go see what's up," Declan said as she headed for the washroom.
She poked her head into the washroom, scanning quickly to make sure there wasn't any other men around before stepping in and over to where she could hear Tony in the last stall at the end. She placed a hand on the stall door and pushed, relieved when the door opened.
"Tony," Declan said softly as she knelt in front of him so she could look into his eyes, "Are you alright?"
Tony nodded, still trying to get a full deep breath in but trying to play it down a little so Declan wouldn't worry.
"You don't have to try and hide it, I can tell when you are," Declan said as if she was speaking to a child, "Did you use your inhaler?"
"It's not really helping much," Tony said, gasping between words.
"It will if you calm down," Declan said, gently taking Tony's face in her hands and looking into his eyes, "Just relax, everything's fine."
Tony held Declan's gaze and started to relax, he couldn't help but believe her when she told him it would be ok. As he calmed himself down more he started to breathe easier. After 5 minutes his breathing was almost back to normal.
Once Tony was breathing properly again Declan thought it was time to voice what she'd been thinking.
"Hun, I think maybe you should go home for the day," Declan suggested slowly, hoping he wouldn't argue with her.
"I'm fine," Tony said as convincingly as he could.
"Right now you are but what if you have another attack and I'm not here to calm you down?" Declan countered.
Tony sighed, he knew she was right but he didn't want to be sent home and have to be alone while everyone else got to work.
"If it happens again I'll go home," He said, trying to bargain.
"Fine, but that's final no compromises," Declan said in her motherly tone as she stood up and picked up her purse from where Tony had left it on the floor.
"Deal," Tony said standing up once Declan had stepped out of the stall.
"Oh, here," He said, holding out his inhaler so Declan could put it back in her bag.
"You should keep that just in case," Declan said, pushing his outstretched arm to his chest.
"Fine," Tony whined, deciding not to push his luck, before sliding his inhaler into his pocket.
"Come on, let's get back to work," Declan said with a smile.
Tony returned the smile and they headed out into the bullpen to get back to work.
