A random little idea I got while watching Grey's Anatomy. One-Shot Songfic to Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars". Tell me what you think. (First Songfic)

Faith stands above her own body, watching as doctors rushed about grabbing different instruments. She stares down at her bloody form, pale and weak. She remembered the man, remembered the gun…but after he points it at her, everything goes black. *Oh God…tell me this isn't happening* she thinks as she watches the scene unfolding before her.
"We'll do it all…..everything….on our own…."
(Faith's ghostly figure begins to sing as her body is rushed down the hall to an operating room)
"We don't need anything….or anyone…"
(Faith follows the doctors and watches in confusion, unable to process what's happening as they begin to operate, trying to save her and unborn child)
"If I lay here…If I just lay here….would you lie with me and just forget the world…"
(The scene changes and we see Kennedy standing against a wall, her tear streaked face illuminated by the lights in the hallway of the hospital as she starts singing)
"I don't quite know…..how to say…how I feel….those three words…are said too much...they're not enough…"
(Kennedy closes her eyes, and Faith appears next to her, placing a ghostly hand on her shoulder as she joins her wife in song)
"If I lay here…if I just lay here...would you lie with me and just forget the world…forget what we're told…before we get too old…just show me a garden that's bursting into life…"
(The view switches to Buffy, she's standing in a blood splattered shirt above the operating room watching as the doctors wheel a small, baby girl quickly from the room. She clutches her cross necklace, praying that her sister slayer survives as she too begins to sing)
"Let's waste time...chasing cars…around our heads….I need your grace…to remind me….to find my own…"
(Buffy opens her eyes as Kennedy appears beside her. The older blonde slayer take's Kennedy's hand looking back at the operating table. Faith's ghost appears next to them and their voices merge together)
"If I lay here…if I just lay here…would you lie with me and just forget the world…forget what we're told…before we get too old…show me a garden that's bursting into life...all that I am…all that I ever was…is here in your perfect eyes they're all I can see...I don't know where…confused about how as well…just know that these things will never change for us at all…"
(A nurse walks in informing them that the baby is fine. Faith's ghost disappears and slowly floats back into her body as Kennedy finishes up the staring at the broken slayer below them)
"If I lay here...if I just lay here…would you lie with me and just forget the world…."
(Ends as we zoom into the operating room, seeing Faith's heart rate start back up.)
Tell me whatcha think…it's my first songfic as I have said before so sorry if it's a bit jumpy
