Note: If you play Pirate101 and see a Witchdoctor named Bloody Amber Everhart, thats me! :D

I slowly opened my eyes, trying to figure out where I was. My head hurt like hell. I sat up and looked around. I was in a wooden room, under the deck of some ship by the looks of it, laying on a hammock that was hung up by strings attached to poles on either side. In the corners of the room where crates, each one marked with a different label.

"Must be they storage room..." I thought to myself as I stood up.

I was indeed on a ship. I noticed a ladder leading up to a latch, which I assumed must have led to the main deck. I mustered up what courage I could to check the main deck. What if I was on the ship of a gang of cutthroats, or a ghost ship, or something even worse? Well, I had to check. I slowly climbed up the ladder, grabbed the latch, and turned it. Once the latch was open, I stuck my head out to look. I squinted due to the sunlight, shielding my eyes with my arm. Once my eyes had adjusted to the new amount of lighting, I looked around.

"Hmmm... Nice ship..." I thought to myself, admiring the design of the vessel.

It had a long pole in the middle, which the sail was nailed firmly into. The sail was white with the design of a skull on it with golden earrings and a red X across it. Across the deck was a set of double doors, which most likely led to the captains dwelling place. On either side of the double doors were a set of stairs, leading up to a raised platform. There resided the steering wheel. Behind me was a set of stairs leading under the deck. That was the sleeping place for the crew. But, there was noone in sight. I got out onto the deck and shut the latch behind me. Thats when I noticed the ship had been docked next to a island. And not just any island. It was Skull Island.

"Oh, thank god!" I though to myself, breathing a sigh of relief. "At least I know their human now."

But, who were they? I was about to get off the ship when I heard voices.

"Shit..." I cursed under my breath as I quickly opened the latch back up, climbed down, and shut it.

"Ye sure we should be doing this, Captain?" I heard a low, male voice question as I heard two pairs of feet walk across the deck.

"Of course I am, Rick." I heard a high-pitched, female voice squeak. "We got ta make sure we go down in history."

"I'm just worried that ye may not be able ta handle they journey..." Rick stated, his tone sounding worried.

"It will only take us a few months." The captain scoffed. "By they way..."

"Hm?" Rick grunted.

"Should we check how they lad we picked up is doing down there?" The captain questioned, tapping the latch with her foot.

I quickly scurried back to the hammock and hopped onto it, trying to make myself look like I was sleeping.

"Yes, we should." Rick replied as I heard the latch open.

"Don't move! Don't move! Don't move!" I told myself over and over again.

I heard them climb down the ladder and walk over to me.

"Looks like they lad is still snoozing away." The captain giggled, poking my cheek.

"Captain, don't wake they boy up." Rick scolded. "He must be very tired after... Well, you know..."

"Yeah..." The captain agreed, her tone now sounding much more worried.

Wait, what happened to me? I can't seem to remember. As I layed there, thinking intently, I heard the captain and Rick leave. I layed there for hours, trying to remember anything, but I could only remember one thing: My name, Derek. Thats all.
