Mercedes walks into McKinley and the first thing she sees is her best friend, Kurt and Rachel standing by their old lockers. "And I'm still pissed about it," she tease and grins as she hugs Kurt then Rachel. "What are you guys doing here? I thought you weren't coming."
"We decided to come and support the Glee Club so here we are," says Kurt with a fake smile Mercedes can see right through. When they head to the auditorium, she pulls Kurt aside, "You came to see Blaine?" A nod. "Oh baby boy, you can miss him. You can even want him back. Never think it's a crime to forgive and choose to be with the love of your life."
"I know, I'm fine and I'm getting there and sometimes it's just hard. It's hard not to be with him, but it's harder to look at him and see the guilt of what he did." She nods in understand, "Give it time. I have faith in you two." She pulls him into another tight hug and they walk to their seats. After the show, they all head to Breadstix for celebration of opening night being a success and being together again. Kurt spots Mercedes and Artie first, and sits at their table followed by a shy Blaine, "There's nowhere else to sit, but I can leave it you want."
"Blaine. Sit down." Out the corner of Kurt's eye he catch a rather suspicious glance and flirty smiles between Mercedes and Artie. One of his eyebrows raised, he whispers to Mercedes, "What is this?"
"I will tell you later, but for now, talk to him please. He looks like a kicked puppy." Later comes about two hours later, with a sleepover in Kurt's room with him, Cedes, Rach, and Tina. "Okay, Cedes. What is going on with you and Artie?" questions Kurt as he stares at her pointedly. "Well, we sorta go out now," confesses Mercedes. A round of squeals comes for the girls and Kurt as she begins to explain the ins and outs of how this all happened. When Artie called her, they met up as soon as she came home from LA. They talked about school and the musical that they were putting on. Everyday after rehearsals they would go out for coffee which escalated to dinner which turned into dates. They discussed their mutual attractions and been together every since. It's only been a month, but things are going good. The rest of the week was filled with shopping sprees, dinners with the Glee Club, and outings with former significant others. Kurt and Blaine spend more time together and start to reconcile; Rachel and Finn starts to see each other regularly and in an intimate way; and after the news of Mercedes and Artie, Sam has become permanently attached to their hips. Despite the obvious, it was good to be home.
