Mountain's Song
To everyone else,
A mountain is only rock and stone
But to me it is alive
Flesh and bone
The mountain is a wonder
Filled with secrets and mystery.
And, to those brave enough to fine it,
An intriguing history.
Mountain's Song
I listen to its thoughts
And through the music played within
I learn to see what's not.
I sit here on my mountain
Amongst the deep brown earth
The rock melds into me
As fire in a hearth.
And while the mountain sings
I begin to learn the words
So that one day I might sing
The mountain song I heard.
Mountain's Song
I listen to its thoughts
And through the music played within
I learn to see what's not.
To everyone else,
A mountain is only rock and stone
But to me it is alive
Flesh and bone
The mountain is a wonder
Filled with secrets and mystery.
And, to those brave enough to fine it,
An intriguing history.
Mountain's Song

And through the music played within
I learn to see what's not.
I sit here on my mountain
Amongst the deep brown earth
