1. Largos is an OC, not the unnamed character from the Godfather assassination. I'm making the assumption, from OAV 1 and latter episodes of the TV series, that usually Zoaldyeck assassinations are done in teams rather than individually.

When Illumi Zoaldyeck received the call, he was in the middle of finishing up his latest assignment. Casually jabbing a pin at a vital point of the cringing president of the Tihitian Island, he surveyed his otherwise impeccable surroundings with a quiet thrum of satisfaction. Having been forewarned by an unexpectedly capable intelligence department, the government had beefed up its security in the hopes of preventing the assassination.

Illumi had appreciated the challenge.

"Hello?"

"Illumi, I need a favour."

Illumi blinked. "Kuroro? Aren't you supposed to be fighting Hisoka right now?"

"That's how he managed to sneak out, isn't it? Never mind. We never fought. Do you have time right now?"

The dark-haired assassin looked down at his timepiece. "A few minutes before the next guard comes."

"That's more than enough. Listen, I need to know the location of a Jyonen-user."

"Jyonen? So Kurapika did manage to seal your nen."

"…………….you know him?"

"He was in this year's Hunter exams. He is one of Killua's friends."

" 'Killua'? That name sounds familiar."

"He's my youngest and most useful brother. He has short gray hair and dark eyes. Wears shorts and long sleeves a lot."

" 'Gray hair'? How old is this brother of yours?"

"If you're thinking about one of the two boys Hisoka mentioned, that's Killua."

"So he's a Zoaldyeck. Slightly qualifies him to be a Spider."

"Are you avidly recruiting? I didn't know."

"Not at the moment….Illumi, if you knew the chain guy, why didn't you warn me?"

"I thought it would be interesting to see what would happen. I'll tell you about him now, if you want."

"……..never mind. We've been talking for fifteen minutes. Do you still have time?"

Illumi saw his assistant, a tiny bald figure wrapped in several layers of black gossamer, raise two fingers. "Largos just killed the two guards. We should have another fifteen minutes before the back-ups come. What favor did you want? Just information on a Jyonen-user?"

"That and help on using disguises."

"This won't come free anymore."

"(sigh)…How much?"

"30 million Zeni on the Jyonen-user, 50 million on the disguise. Transferrable to my Altros account."

"Done."

"Where are you now?"

"I'm staying at Batonne City. Hotel Biebrich."

"I'll be there in four days."

"Fine."

Illumi disconnected and pocketed the phone. At his signal, he and Largos sped out of the sprawling white palace amidst verdant greenery and sparkling oceans. His mind was racing.

:I didn't think Killua's friends will be able to bring someone like Kuroro down,: he thought:maybe little brother is not as stupid at picking 'friends' as I thought.:

:Then again, they took on the Genei Ryodan. Maybe they're even stupider.:

Illumi narrowed his eyes in anticipation.
