I cried for her, willing her to wake up. Her short blonde hair, her unfocused blue eyes all had no signs of life. Her small, pink lips were etched into a small smile…
"Roxas… I'm here…"
I looked around in confusion. "Where are you Naminè?" I shouted loudly.
"I live in your heart as you once lived in mine…"
"Who Naminè; who did this to you?" I cried. Sora stood behind me, my feelings melting with his.
"Kairi…
She tried to protect me from my fate but…
Fate won in the end…"
Sora was shocked, as was I. Silent tears fell down his face but he quickly wiped them away.
"W-where is sh-she?" Sora sobbed.
"I'm here, Sora…" Kairi said softly. She was unharmed and walking perfectly.
"Kairi!" Sora ran over and embraced her tightly.
"I don't get it…" I said. Suddenly unimaginable pain burst inside my body. I collapsed to the ground and Sora ran to me, sharing a small morsel of my pain. Kairi seemed unshaken by this.
"Do you understand now, Roxas?"
"Yes, I think I do…"
Roxas became transparent and began disappearing as did Naminè.
"Nobodies really are… meant to return to the darkness…"
