Pit/Tony Stark was abducted by the Underworld army/Islamic terrorists because they wanted him to make them a Reset bomb/Jericho missile. Before this happened, Pit/Tony was a successful entrepreneur. He made hi-tech weapons for the US army, but his inventions were secretly leaked out of Stark Enterprises (his company) by Hades/Obadiah. He thought Obadiah was his friend and business partner, but Obadiah betrayed him. Pit was held captive for a time, but he was secretly working on a suit of armor, powered by the arc reactor he now needed in his chest to survive. This was caused by the blast the Underworld/Terrorists used to catch him. The armor had repulsor technology as weapons as well as jet boots, to assist his wings in flight. After making it home, he was greeted by Palutena/Pepper Potts. He made an upgraded version of his "Iron Angel" suit, which he tested the parts to for a time. Palutena/Pepper didn't like that he was putting himself in danger, but Pit/Tony believed he could get rid of his weapons and protect the world for good. She came to believe in him. Hades/Obadiah made a more powerful version of the "Iron Angel" suit, which he called the "Iron God" suit. He was more powerful than Pit/Tony and better equipped, However he hadn't tested his suit before he challenged Pit/Tony, and hadn't solved the biggest problem. The problem was icing, if you flew too high in the atmosphere, your suit would get coated with ice, making you very vulnerable. Pit/Tony had developed a solution to this, Hades/Obadiah had not. In the end, good prevailed, Pit/Tony gave up his secret: that he was the "Iron Angel". But it didn't end there; he was approached by director Ike/Nick Fury.
As Pit walked into the dimly lit room, he saw a figure in the corner near a couch. It had been some time since his fight with Hades,
"Jarvis?"
He called out hoping for a response from the AI unit that ran the mansion,
"Hello,"
A voice emanated from the figure,
"How did you get in?"
Pit questioned being cautious,
"Do not be alarmed Mr. Pit, I am Director Ike, I am in charge of S.H.I.E.L.D."
"Well, what do you want?"
"I have come to speak with you about the Smasher Initiative."
