Lupus, an orphaned American, has been on his own for five years since he ran away on his eleventh birthday, until he finds a white wolf pup, later named Kai, who imprinted himself onto Lupus and is also his familiar.
Living peacefully in a cave, everything changed for the orphaned duo one day when Lupus goes into a man sent from the Ministry of Magic in London, Lupus is later sent to Hogwarts, after a long "chat" with the Ministry, where he meets Albus Severus Potter, the second son the famous Harry Potter, and slowly starts to fall in love with the blue eyed Brit.
