Scrabble Sucks.

'Back… and that gives me… ooh 22 points-' Daniel looked up at Jack,'-write it down.'

Jack lifted the tile holder from his chest, sat up and pencilled in Daniel's score.

'My turn!' Jack exclaimed; he reached forward and placed four tiles next to Daniel's word, '-side, as in your cute backside.'

'So mature.' Daniel muttered, 'How many points?'

Jack totalled up his score and smiled, '34.'

'What? How?'

'Well ya see, the D is on a double word score.'

'Okay…' Daniel shuffled uncomfortable for a couple of seconds before laying down four letters, 'Azure. Ha!'

'Points.' Jack wasn't happy.

'Twenty-eight.' Daniel sat back in his chair.

'You cheat.' Jack confirmed.

'Erm how?'

'You're a linguist. You have a vocabulary bigger than the entire bible.'

'Oh I so do not. Your turn.'

Jack laid down four letters.

'Bored.' Daniel stated.

'I am.'

'Only because you're losing.' Daniel looked back at the board, and then at his tiles and then he waited.

'Fourteen.'

'Thank you.' Daniel snatched the score sheet from Jack and wrote down the score.

'I meant it. I'm bored.'

'Have you got something better to do?'

'I have a few things in mind.' There it was - the unmistakable trademark grin.

'Oh yeah?' Daniel grinned back.

Jack looked at his watch. 'You clear this up. I'll order Chinese. Meet you upstairs.'

'Race Ya.'
