An Evening to Remember

Chapter 1
Rin gazed around as she sat in the garden of Sesshoumaru's mansion. She had her brown eyes fixed on the setting sun on the orange and pink horizon. She heard Sesshoumaru's steps behind her. She stood up, dusted off her light pink dress and smiled. Sesshoumaru wore a simple white shirt and a jeans with white flip-flops.
"Ready Rin?" he asked. They were going to Rin's best friend's party. Rin picked up the neatly wrapped gift hat was next to her and put on her low, pink wedge heels and she and Sesshoumaru set off to Kohaku's house.
Rin was greeted by Kohaku when she arrived. Sesshoumaru was pulled off somewhere by Sango, Kohaku's sister.
"Ne, happy birthday Kohaku-kun." she said excitedly as she handed him the gift. "Thanks." Kohaku smiled. He wore a blue T-shirt along with a blue ¾ pants. He had his brown hair in a spiky ponytail and his brown eyes shone happily.
"Hey, I wanna show you something." Kohaku dragged Rin up to his room. He opened his bedroom door and led Rin to a glass door. He opened it. Rin was amazed. He had the full view of the sea and the sunset.
"It's so pretty!" Rin said.
"Yeah, like you." Kohaku said softly. Fortunately, Rin hadn't heard. Rin leaned on the metal railing. Kohaku joined her.
"This may sound weird but, I actually like spending time with you. Especially now." He said, while blushing lightly.
"It's not weird. I actually feel the same way." Rin smiled, blushing as well.
Kohaku looked at Rin. Rin brought her face close to his.
"I really like you Kohaku." She said softly and smiled. Rin softly pressed her lips against Kohaku's.
"I like you too." Kohaku repeated Rin's actions as the sun disappeared from sight.
