Preface:
Hannah screamed and pounded against the glass but it was no use. There was no one there to rescue them. Hannah shot a concerned glance at Ross, who was treading water next to her. He smiled weakly at her and squeezed her hand. In a few moments the oxygen in the tank would run out and the water would be over their heads. Hannah looked down at the four carat diamond on her left ring finger and shook her head. Only a week ago she was the happiest woman on earth. Now, she and Ross were trapped in a glass tank in the middle of an abandoned cruise ship with no way out. Water splashed up into Hannah's mouth. Hannah spat out the water and took a deep breath. She tried to ignore the panic she felt rising in her chest. As if he could sense her panic, Ross squeezed her hand.

"I love you, Hannah. I want you to know that I've always loved you. Since the day I laid eyes on you, my life has turned upside down in the best way. "
"Ross... Please don't do this. I'm not ready to say goodbye."
Ross smiled at her.
"You are the most beautiful woman in the world in my eyes. I wish we could've spent more time together but I will always love you."

"There has to be a way out of here somehow, we just need to find it. We can't give up now. I-"
Ross cut her off with a kiss.
They clung to each other desperately, neither one of them letting go as the water washed over their heads.
