Emily's returning for a visit from Europe, when she comes across the person she had feelings for who now knows they have feelings for her as well.
Feelings
Emily was sitting on the plane on her way to Virginia. She was going home to see her family. And the person she loved, but never could tell him. She was afraid that he wouldn't feel the same way. She was afraid of the rejection. But as she sat there she kept telling herself that when she saw him, she would tell him. She was going to tell Aaron Hotchner that she loved him.
Aaron sat at the airport waiting for her plane to land. Everyone had volunteered to pick her up, but he insisted that he was the one to do it. He had to be the one to pick her up because as soon as he saw her he was going to tell her that he loved her. He was going to tell Emily Prentiss that he loved her.
Emily stepped off of the plane, and into the cold night. She hoped that he was there to pick her up. Even though she wanted to see her family, she wanted to see him first. As she walked through the airport, she kept looking for someone, anyone that she knew. Then she stopped. He was here. He was standing right in front of her. She ran to him. He hadn't seen her coming in till she was latched on to him. She griped him as hard as she could. She didn't want to let go.
"Emily" he said, as he buried his face in her hair.
"Aaron" she said, into his shoulder.
"I have missed you so much Emily"
"I have missed you too Aaron" she said as she smiled up at him.
And in that moment, they both knew what the other wanted; each other.
"I love you" they both said, in unison.
