The day I first saw him was the day my death date was confirmed. But I couldn't stay away from him. He is what makes me whole, and the thing that has kept me alive till now.
I know he may not have been much to the normal person, and that he may turn to Sora after I have gone, but I want him to be with me for the last breath of air I have.
He is crying, yelling my name. But I can't reply. All I want him to know is I love him, and I wish he could stay with me forever, hold me in his arms, though more gently then he is now.
"Just… Give me one kiss. It is all I need to know that you love me…" I whispered in his ear.
"Roxas, this is stupid. You know I love you. Why do you have to do this? Why do you have to die today? You can change your destiny." He yelled at me, his long silver hair hitting my face lightly as he tried to gain control of himself.
"I can't change my destiny. You know all nobodies have to die. I just need to know that Sora isn't the one you will turn to for help out of your pain when I am gone. I need to know that you really truly love me, and not him. Although we are from the same body, he will never be me, and I will never truly be him." I whispered.
"Shut up!" He yelled, and bent down, putting his soft lips to mine. The one thing that I craved. The one thing that made me whole. It wasn't Sora. It was Riku.
"Thank you." I whispered to him, instantly knowing these two simple words were the last words I would ever speak to him in this life.
"You're the one I love, Roxas. Not Sora. Not anybody else. Not Ever. You are the only one I will ever love.
Now was time to go. As I faded to darkness, I mouthed the words "I know" And I was gone from that world, to be born in another world. To find him once again and tell him how much I love him too. I know he will recognize me instantly when we meet again, and I can't wait.
I got inspired to do a one-shot… RoxasXRiku, I know! It surprises me, too! I never thought I would write about those two together, although Roxas is my favourite and Riku is right up there at third, after the all mighty Axel, of course. Please review on my first successful one-shot, and tell me if you like it. If you don't like it, at least tell me why you don't.
