Jackson and Greta are my original characters, but I don't own CSI.
Happy Halloween!
I had to write a Halloween story for Jackson and Greta! I mentioned in my story D.B.'s Phone Call that Jackson said he might dress as Linus for Halloween, so I thought it might be cool to write it. Hope you enjoy...and pretty please review.
Greta Sanders did not like getting her hair styled. At least, she didn't like her mother Morgan brushing her hair trying to make it look like a beloved cartoon character. So she frowned at her mother while Morgan was brushing her hair.
"Oh, don't look like that, sweetie," Morgan told her daughter. "You are going to look great!" She stepped back and looked at Greta with her hair styled like Sally Brown from the Peanuts comic strip. "You look great!"
Greta simply looked up at her mother and picked at her blue dress Judy made for her. She didn't understand anything about Halloween...but she did like candy almost as much as her brother Jackson.
Greg walked in and smiled at his daughter. "Look at you, sweet girl!" Greta smiled at her father.
"Yeah, the costumes turned out great," Morgan said. "Jackson ready?"
Jackson came in dressed as Linus in a red stripped shirt, black shorts and carrying the small blue blanket Judy made for him. "Look, Mama!"
Morgan and Greg smiled at their kids. "All right!" Morgan said.
"Baba!" Greta said as she pointed to her brother.
Jackson smiled at his sister. "You look just like Sally, Greta! Mama and Aunt Judy did a good job."
"Thank you, sweet pea," Morgan said with a smile. "You guys ready to go see everyone at the lab?"
"Almost," Jackson said. He grinned when his dog Scruffy came in wearing a costume that looked like Snoopy's from the classic Halloween special. The dog looked up at her family and smiled.
Greg and Morgan took pictures of the kids and Scruffy for family and friends and headed to the lab.
Everyone loved seeing the kids and Scruffy in their Halloween costumes, and Greta and Jackson loved getting candy from their CSI family.
When they returned home, Jackson grabbed the DVD of his favorite Halloween special. "Greta, you've got to see this!"
Morgan and Greg looked through the kids candy as Jackson explained to his sister how cool Charlie Brown and all the Peanuts characters are. "Greta, you're going to love this. You look like Sally! She didn't like waiting with Linus in the pumpkin patch, though."
The show started and Greta smiled when she saw the cartoon. "Baba!" she said as she pointed to the TV.
"Yeah," Jackson said. "We watch this every year on Halloween."
Scruffy sat at Jackson's side as he explained the special to his baby sister.
Greg and Morgan smiled at their children. "I think she likes it, Jacks," Greg said.
Jackson giggled. "Yeah. She likes it better than last year."
"Oh, yeah," Morgan said. "She fell asleep, remember?" Greg nodded and smiled at the memory.
Greta smiled as the cartoon continued. She especially liked seeing Snoopy. "Woof!" she said as she pointed to the dog.
"That's right," Jackson said. "Snoopy and Scruffy are great dogs!" Jackson lovingly rubbed his dog's head.
Greg sat on the couch and pulled Greta onto his lap. "What do you think, Jacks? Think she likes the Great Pumpkin?"
Jackson was about to answer when Greta pointed to the TV and said, "punkin!"
Everyone smiled at the sweet baby girl. "Yeah!" Jackson said.
"Yeah," Greg and Morgan said.
Greta smiled and clapped her hands like she knew she did something big. "Punkin!"
"That's right," Morgan said. She kissed Greta's hand.
"That's very good, sweet girl," Greg said.
Greta smiled at her family.
"You said 'pumpkin'!" Jackson said to his sister. "Very cool!"
Greta smiled at her big brother. "Punkin!"
The End
