I do not own the series Sailor Moon or any of its characters. They belong to Naoko Takeuchi. The translation of what Neptune told the senshi belongs to Mixx, not me.

Looking back, I've changed a lot. Well, we all have. I mean, who couldn't after raising a kid, touring the world, and nearly having it all destroyed a few dozen times? I guess I have what I always dreamed about-- I live with my girlfriend, we've adopted this cute little girl as our own, and me, her, and our friend Setsuna all work together at the local elementary school. Perfect...

Of course, there have been some complications. Like, for one thing, when I first envisioned a future like this with Michiru, I was expecting to live my entire life as a guy. I wasn't expecting the kid to have the ability to destroy the entire world. And I certainly wasn't expecting having to help our princess fight evil wearing a short skirt.

Why did everything turn out so different? Was it the evil, or was it just some kind of destiny?

Haruka, leaving these thoughts, looked up at Michiru, "Hey. Remember when we met?"

Michiru smiled, pausing in her violin playing for a moment, "Of course. You came to one of my concerts and sat in the front row. After the show, you came up to me and told me you could hear the sea in my playing."

Haruka snorted, "Anyone who can't hear that every time you play really is a million years behind."

"You have to forgive them. It's not their fault they can't hear what senshi can."

"A few weeks after we started dating," Haruka stretched, "You got me into this Sailor Senshi business."

Michiru looked sentimental for a moment, "Do you regret that?"

            "What, and miss meeting Muffin-head?"

Michiru tapped her on the head teasingly with her bow, "The Princess is taken, Haruka."

Haruka grinned, "Don't worry, just playing."

Michiru held her bow close in memory, closing her eyes "I remember when I first regained some memory and became a senshi. I got a letter in the mail with a pair of pens inside. A couple of days later, the genetic regressions started, and I used the pen for the first time..."

"Turning into Sailor Neptune and dooming me to protecting the universe in a miniskirt."

The humor only increased Michiru's reflective seriousness, "Yes... after a while of fighting in that 'Tuxedo Mask' form, you started regaining your memory..."

"Tell me, Michiru, how did we get away with explaining my sudden change into a girl with 'Uranus is both a guy and a girl, she has the strengths and personalities of both types'?"

"I don't know." Michiru grinned devilishly, "They still haven't figured it out yet."

"Hmph," Haruka stood up, "Well, none of it matters, as long as we're together."

"Of course," Michiru confirmed. She snuggled deep in her love's embrace. "I'm glad you're back to being male for the moment, though. You're cuter this way."
