I was watching "Aladdin" the other night after hearing of Robin Williams' passing and this idea sparked as a tribute to the man who made us laugh for many years. I only own Rachel and Sasha and Ally belongs to Sparkling Lover. All movies and songs mentioned belong to their respective owners. Enjoy.

Remembering

The day at the Grant Mansion had started with the bad news of the famous actor Robin Williams passing away. Rachel and Sasha were both shocked and Ally, who had come over earlier, was also in shock.

"Why did he die?" the little girl asked her older cousins.

Rachel sighed. "It just happens, Sweetie. It can't be helped sometimes," she said.

Sasha nodded and looked at their movie collection. They had a lot of movies from way back, like "Pete's Dragon" and "Mary Poppins" and many others. Her eyes then spotted some movies that were favorites.

"How about when Rachel and I come back from work, we'll sit down with a bowl of popcorn and watch some movies that we have with Robin Williams in them?" she suggested and the others agreed.

That night, they first put in "Aladdin" and laughed at when the Genie first came on-screen with his signature song "Friend Like Me", which the girls sang together. After that one, they put in "Aladdin And The King Of Thieves" since "The Return Of Jafar" didn't have Robin Williams voicing the Genie.

Then it was "Bicentennial Man" and "Flubber". Ally hadn't seen "Flubber" and thought it was one of the funniest film she had ever seen.

Then they watched "Robots", which made Ally laugh, along with "Night At The Museum" and "Night At The Museum: Battle Of The Smithsonian" where they all agreed that Robin Williams made a good Teddy Roosevelt.

Sasha then dug through the movies and found one that made her eyes sparkle. "Let's finish it off with this one!" she said excitedly.

It was "Ferngully". Ally had been surprised and asked which character the famous actor had voiced. Rachel had smiled and said he voiced the funniest character in the movie, Batty Koda.

"He really did a lot of movies, huh?" said Ally.

"He did," Sasha agreed.

"He also did some other movies, but they're a little too adult for you, Ally," said Rachel. "I don't want your parents getting on me for giving you nightmares."

Ally laughed. "That's okay," she said. "I hope he rests in peace now."

"So do I," said Rachel. "He was a great actor and a voice provider. The world lost a great man and he will be missed."

The other two girls nodded and put in "Ferngully". As the movie played, Rachel thought back on the movies they had just watched and how she had grown up with them and they never lost their magic, no matter how many times she watched them.

Just then, she heard Batty come into the movie and soon his song "Batty Rap" started to play and all three girls got up and danced to it and Rachel even rapped with Batty as she knew the song by heart.

They played the song a few times before finally letting the movie commence and they all sat down with big smiles as they enjoyed the rest of the movie.

The actor that they all liked may have passed away, but his memory lived in the characters he portrayed, as each of them held a small part of him forever.

The world did indeed lose a great man on 8/11/2014. His memory will live on in the movies he acted in or did a voice over in. He will not be forgotten.
