Just a little something I thought of while watching Mr. Monk And The UFO. Who else is incredibly sad that Monk is ending? (wipes tear away) Well, maybe now Monk and Natalie will get together... One can hope. Enjoy, and please remember to review!

Natalie laughed as she leaned against the door. "Come on, Mr. Monk. Just a peek."
"No," came his muffled reply. "I swear, I'll destroy your planet."
"It's your planet, too."
"No, it's not."
An idea popped into her head. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours," she called out.
"I don't want to see yours!"
"Sure you do."
She was right; he was intrigued. But he wouldn't admit it. "No, I don't, Natalie. Go home."
She leaned against the door. "Not going to happen, Mr. Monk."
Finally the door opened, and she grinned and stepped into his bedroom. Eyeing him, she motioned to his stomach. "So...?"
"Show me yours first," Monk insisted, crossing his arms over his chest stubbornly.
She rolled her eyes and pulled up her shirt, revealing her belly button. "See? There it is. A belly button."
His heart skipped a beat, but he just nodded. "It's a belly button."
"I know it is. Show me yours."
He hesitated, but she shook her head.
"Come on, I showed you mine."
He sighed heavily, rolling his eyes. "Fine." Reaching down, he unbuttoned his shirt with slow and steady precision.
Natalie watched with a grin as he finally unbuttoned his shirt and pulled it up, revealing his belly button. "Well, you're definitely human." And not a bad looking human. Natalie's stomach jumped. Where had that come from?
Monk snorted. "Of course I'm human, Natalie. Did you actually believe them?"
"Well, no, but-"
He stuck an accusing finger in her direction. "You did! You believed them, Natalie!"
She held her hands up. "I swear, Mr. Monk, I didn't believe them! I know you're human!"
"Then why did you want to see my belly button?"
She shrugged. "I don't know..."
"Because you believed them!" He pulled his shirt back down.
As he buttoned his shirt, Natalie couldn't help herself. Closing the distance between them, she wrapped her arm around his neck and kissed him softly.
Thrown off by the kiss and not sure what to do, Monk just stood there, hands at his sides and barely breathing.
Finally she pulled back and let her arms fall to her sides. "Yep," she confirmed, licking her soft lips. "Definitely human."
Monk's jaw dropped as she turned and sashayed out of his bedroom. Finally he forced his body to cooperate with his mind, and he followed after her.
"Natalie? I'm not sure you're human..."
She just rolled her eyes and laughed.
The End!
