I'm writing this alongside 'Sweaters and Sparkles' because I had this idea and had to get it down before I'd forget. The Prologue doesn't give you much detail about the story; its mostly a Malec story with a Max/Julian relationship kinda twisted in. Chapter 1 will be up soon and reviews are LOVED.
Magnus Bane was a shy guy. Not like I'm-so-shy-I'm-in-the-closet, but shy enough stand awkwardly at parties and not make eye contact with anyone. He came from Indonesia originally, but moved to London when we was 3, and then to New York when he was 16. After getting suspended from several high schools in Brooklyn for fighting, he was sent to central New York to a private school were fighting and bullying was banned. It was easier for Magnus to settle into the private school because of this. In the previous schools he'd been teased for being gay, and after 3 long weeks of taunting Magnus beat them so bloody they were in the hospital for a few weeks.
Alec Lightwood was a loud guy. Not like the fucking annoying type of loud, but loud enough for people to notice him and stare at his very sparkly physique. He came from New York, born and raised. His family were rich and sent him to a private school in central New York. He wasn't a bad kid per say, he'd gotten into a few fights outside of school and aside from the no-bullying policy the other kids stayed clear from him. Alec had a hard exterior, his eyes always guarded; but if you knew him you'd realise that it's just a front.
