Chapter 1: Times Change
It was just another day, a boring day. It had been four years from the day Takato had said goodbye to his partner. "I promise!" still hung in his ear. "Guilmon, I will see you again."
A teenage boy was seen walking down a street. He seemed to have a familiar face, a nice kind face. He stopped at the park where Guilmon stayed most of his life.
Another boy, a few years younger approached him, "Hey Takato, still miss that monster?""
Takato looked up, "You mean Guilmon? Yes, I do." He looked back down.
On the other side of the city, an older Henry was working in an office with his dad. He didn't talk to his father much since the day he lost his partner.
Not far away, a changed Rika was modeling with her mother. She looked a lot different, a lot more mature. She missed her partner like the others did.
Two kids sat by a lake, staring at the water. They were staring at something happening in the sky, it was in the air, a red color, two monsters fighting, like a halo-gram.
Takato still stood by the park, a small stare. He then heard a beep. His stare went to his old d-power, which hung from his belt, "Guilmon!"
A new adventure was on hand, Takato running as fast as he could down the street. He reached a small apartment building, reaching the door, he slid in. Making a racket running up the stairs, he reached a door, entering it.
He suddenly disappeared, screaming the name 'Guilmon.'
Two hours passed, no Takato. Henry got home from work and walked to his computer, he opened an e-mail he thought was just a joke or something from Takato.
Henry! Hurry! Get the Tamers together and get to the digital world, now! Guilmon and the others need you and Rika! Hurry!!!
