Day 1

Everything was black, no stars to light the scene. Nothing in this place I was in; This place was empty by any definition. There is a small light far away. It grows larger as if it is coming closer to me. Then my vision fades to white.

I awaken to a dark forested area, life everywhere around me. An eight legged creature was crawling up my back. And a snake was on my foot. I did what anyone would do there. I took the nearest fallen tree branch and bashed what I know knew to be a giant scorpion off of my back.

I looked around and saw that most things were deadly in here. I picked one direction and started to travel that way for what felt like days. I eventually came to an exit of sorts.

There was nothing around... except a lone building. I thought I should go over to it and look around: and so I do. I walk over to the door and then I knock on it. I hear "Oh, Coming" Come from behind the door. Then the bottom half is opened inward to show no one... Odd. I get on my knees and ask "Hello? Who opened the door?" I look around what I can see from the door way.

I see a little rabbit walk over to the door, look up at me and just stare at me for a while. "Hello?" I ask again as the rabbit just looks behind the door then just opens it a bit more revealing a small yellow equine with wings. No she has a pink... mane? Mane. That sounds right; a pink mane and tail.

"Hello, who are you?" I ask kindly the pink haired girl "I-I-..." She looks scared as she hides in her mane and hooves "I'm sorry... do I scare you? Anyway I could show you I mean no harm? "O-oh... it's okay i-it's just that y-your so big." She stutters. I get on my hands and knees, my head is about on her level "How about now?" I ask her, hoping she will not fear me.

"Oh... I guess you really are just pony sized... So... what's your name? I'm Fluttershy..." She says quietly "Oh, Hello then Fluttershy, My name is-" Then a sudden hit of realization hits me... I can't recall what my name even is. How can I not know my name? I must have repeated it a million times at the least; How can I not even recall the most simplistic of memories? "..." comes from me

"Oh... you don't want to tell me?" Fluttershy asks me as I keep trying to remember my name. I also notice I have no memories at all other then academic knowledge such as language and mathematics I just sigh and say "Well... I guess I can't remember my name. Or really much of anything" I say with a face all but I would call sad.

"Would you like to come in and sit down? I have to care for the animals." Fluttershy tells me, I say "Oh, thank you. Yes I wouldn't mind coming in; It is pretty hot out there in the light. She looks outside and sees it's Autumn and looks confused. I crawl under the door and then ask "If I stand up, would you be frightened by me again?" then I get back off of my hands and just on my knees

"No, I wont. I'll be okay." She says, I stand up to my full height again. Her eyes widen in shock. "Y-your so tall..." She says surprised "No... I am not tall, I just stand up. We have roughly the same mass which means if we were at the same positions and such we would be on equal level... more or less. Want to find out?" I say my hopefully smart sounding babble.

"Okay... That's okay I guess..." She tells me, I walk over to her, get down and ask "You want to see the world from my height?" She says "Yes..." I nod and grab her front hooves. She sounds scared. I look to her, she nods. I then get up and make it so her hooves are on my shoulders and her back hooves on the ground. She's a bit shorter: Understandable since her body isn't meant to do this. I hold her up and ask "So what do you think of almost being on equal height? Are you still afraid of me? I think that would be quite silly.

"No... I guess not... uhm... could you please put me down, my back hooves are starting to hurt..." She tells me, I'm glad she isn't quite as afraid of me as she was before. I bring her back down to the ground. "So... uhm. I don't know much about anything right now so... could you help me? In exchange I'll happily help with whatever you need." I ask her, hoping for a yes so I can know where I am and what she even is.

The silence hurts me. It is quiet until I finally hear "Oh, okay, what do you want to know?" I never felt happier... that I know of. Oh how I hate not knowing myself. Is this a trait of have? Or is it something from not knowing myself? I- I'm done. "Right, Thank you. First of all... What are you? As In what species and such." I ask Fluttershy as she stops and sits on the ground adorably.

"Oh, I'm a Pegasus Pony, there's three main races in Equestria Earth, Pegasus and Unicorn. Unicorns have magic, Pegasi have flight and weather magic. Earth Ponies have great power. Then there is a special type only two ponies have, Alicorn. They have the ability's of all the others and more. At least that's what I was taught in school.

"Okay... so the main race are "Ponies" which have three main types and a rare type Earth,Pegasus,Unicorn and Alicorn... And also the name of the land is Equestria. Am I getting this correct?" I list of all that I learned, Fluttershy replies with "Oh, yes thats all correct. Now... anything else?" She asks with a smile "Yes, one last thing for now. On a scale of 1-100 how nice is this world: anything from nice people err... ponies to green grass to clear skies." I ask her. "Hmm... I'd say 80." she says after a few seconds of thinking, 80? well then. I Could get used to this.

"Now, a deal is a deal. So what do you need help with?" I formally tell, with a bow and such "Oh? Oh right... uhm... just having company is enough" She says with a subtle smile at the thought of not being alone "Are you sure? I'll gladly help with whatever you want." I tell her honestly "Could I take your offer up another time?" She replies "Sure. So what do you want to do until then?"

"While I feed the bunnies and birds we can talk. Then I'll have to go to town to get some carrots for the rabbits and finally go to bed." She tells me her schedule. "Alright, that seems fair enough." I say as we continue walking over to the holes outside. They are filled with bunnies.

She takes out some carrots and such to feed them. "So... uhm, What do you like to do?" Fluttershy asks me awkwardly. "I don't know." I tell her. What do I like to do? Hmm... I should think on that. "Oh... You can't remember anything huh?" I nod to this. "Yeah... I can't seem to remember anything but how to speak and how to do mathematics." I tell as she finishes with the bunnies.

"Well I have to go to town now... can you stay here and look after everyone? If you see something come out of the forest, get in the house." She tells me... The forest? What else was in there? "Right, have fun in the town I don't even know the name of" I ask, she replies with "Ponyville" "That is the most uncreative name for a place I ever heard... that I know of."

"Well, see you when I get back." She says as she leaves me for a good while. I go inside and sit down, the rabbit that opened the door at first joins me. He walks on my leg and looks up to me "Hello, what's you name?" I ask, not expecting an answer he points to something behind me; it's a poster that has a picture of him and words that say "Angel is best Bunny" I look at it and cringe. I try not to rip it down and fix it's grammar error.

"Hello Angel. How are you then?" I ask the small white fluff ball, he puts his hands up in a way saying "Meh: It's average" He then just sits down beside me and looks at me for about ten minutes. I then hear a noise and I look outside to see a monster made of wood walking to the house. It starts to hit the door. I know how poorly made the door is; It can't take a lot of hits.

So, driven on instinct, I look around and find a long knife: About 30 centimeters. I throw it up and catch it a few times getting an idea of it's weight. I run to the door: right on cue, it breaks with the wood monster coming at me. It tries to bite me, I swiftly dodge and stab it in the neck. It howls in pain. The monster lunges at me, I Jump over it and land on it's back. I hold the knife to it's neck, Like any relatively intelligent creature. It quickly bucks me off and runs away.

Fluttershy came back a few hours after. She sees the destruction around that I tried to clean up. She looks around, puts the door back up, keep it it up with some wooden planks and says "Can I just deal with this in the morning? I'm to tired for this. You can sleep on the couch, I'm off to bed, Good Night." Fluttershy says, surprising me. I notice I'm tired as well and go to sleep on the couch.

"End of day one... tomorrow will be fun I guess... Who am I?" I ask my self before I finally fall asleep.
