A/N: I own nothing this is just for fun.

Levy stood in her kitchen reading the recipe that Mira had given her. The recipe for a stew that Levy knew a particular Iron Dragon Slayer seemed to order from the guild when he did eat there. Now you may be wondering why Levy was so inclined to attempt to make Gajeel a stew, but the petite blue hair mage had heard from Pantherlily earlier that day that Gajeel was not feeling well. Levy had remembered the last time she had been sick and Mira had forced Gajeel to take her some stew while she was in Fairy Hills. Erza had been gone on a mission for Master at the time so Gajeel had no trouble getting into Fairy Hills. Levy smiled to herself as she fondly thought about how the Iron Dragon Slayer had been trying to hide his blush as he muttered that Mira had made him bring the stew.

The timer on the dinner rolls chimed Levy put the last of the chopped vegetables into the simmering pot of meat and broth. Pulling the rolls out of the oven and setting them on the cooling rack. Levy then left the stew to simmer while she began to pack a small lunchbox to take to Gajeel. The stew did not take long to simmer in all reality since Levy was stirring most of the time.

Pantherlily heard the knock at the door to the small apartment he and Gajeel shared. It was a soft timid knock. Lily wondered who could be knocking on the door since only a small handful of people from the guild knew where he and the Iron Dragon slayer lived. As Lily flew over to the door to open he heard Gajeel suffer from another coughing fit. The Exceed winced has he listened to his partner's rattling cough. Opening the door Lily was slightly shocked to see Levy standing on the other side holding a small picnic basket. Lily's nose twitched as he smelled the fresh food she had brought with her.

"Hello, Levy. I was not excepting to see you again today. If I may ask, what brings you by?" the exceed asked.

Levy smiled "I heard you telling Mira that Gajeel was not feeling well and I remembered last time when I was sick he that he brought me some stew to help me feel better. I thought it would be a good idea to return the favor."

Lily was not surprised that Levy would want to return the favor. The smaller mage was known for doing small acts of kindness for people, when she was not reading that is. Lily motioned for Levy to come into the apartment.

"Just place everything on the table and I will see if I can get Gajeel to come out. He woke up not too long ago, so if he is gonna eat it should be about now." Lily instructed Levy has he flew down the small hallway into the dragon slayer's bedroom.

Levy sat her small basket down on the table and pulled out the rolls and stew she had brought for Gajeel and Lily. She also set out several small 'iron's for Gajeel as well. With that done the bluenette began to look around the small apartment. She had only been by once and that had been brief because she had only stopped by to drop of a note from Master.

The apartment was on the smaller size that was for sure. The living room and kitchen were connected the only disguising feature between the two was the carpet floor and the title floor. On one wall sat a small shelf with different bits of metal. When Levy took a closer look she saw that the top two shelves appeared to be small tinker like projects. In the opposite corner of the room sat a small weight set with homemade weights. There was even a smaller set for Lily in his small form. In the middle of living room area sat a single coffee table and a couch. As Levy finished her look around the apartment Lily and Gajeel appeared from the hallway. Gajeel was pale and wore a torn black t-shirt that the sleeves had been torn off of and a pair of black sweatpants with a hole torn in the right knee. Levy gulped as she noticed that the sweatpants hung low on his hips in an appealing way. The shirt was loose on his frame, but Levy could see the outline of his body.

Gajeel paused as he saw Levy standing by his couch. "Thanks for bringing me some stew, Shrimp. I was fixing to ask Lily to bring me something from the guild."

"Oh it was no problem Gajeel there should be plenty for you and Lily. I am going to head back home now. Feel free to ask if you need anything else." Levy said as she turned to leave, but before she reached the door Gajeel called out "Oi, Shrimp stay and eat with us. I don't have a fever anymore so I ain't contagious anymore."

Levy turned to face the dragon slayer as he sat down on the couch with a bowl of stew in one hand, a roll balanced on the edge and a glass of water in the other. "I do not want to impose, plus I ate already."

"Tch. Shrimp will ya sit down. It will be nice to have someone other than Lily to talk to, no offense, Lil' but I have been talking to just you for almost three days now."

The black exceed gave a small smile as he sat on the floor on the other side of the coffee table. "None taken I know how you get when you have not been outside for a few days." He replied as he took a bite on the stew. "This is really good Levy." The exceed told the bluenette.

Levy gave a small blush at the compliment. "Thank you Pantherlily. Gajeel since you insist I will stay for lunch." Levy moved to make herself a small bowl of the stew with a roll. Levy sat down on the other end of the couch. She watched Gajeel add the small bits of 'iron' she had left for him into his stew. "Lil' is right Shrimp this is a pretty nice stew." Once again Levy blushed at the compliment as she took a bite of her own stew.

The three companions spent the rest of lunch making small talk until Gajeel once again became sleepy. He returned to bed with a "Thanks, Shrimp." Lily saw Levy to the door. "Thank you, Levy. Gajeel seemed to be doing better since you stopped by. He does not like it when he is stuck inside." Lily informed the bookworm.

"You are welcome Lily. Please let me know if I can do anything else." Levy replied as she walked off to Fairy Hills. Levy smiled to herself proud glad that Lily and Gajeel enjoyed her stew. Little did they know that was the fifteenth batch she had made because she had messed up the previous ones. Levy could cook, but it took her a few tries.

That was the first prompt. Also this is my first attempt at Fairy tail fanfiction. Thanks for reading.
