League of Legends belongs to Riot Games, and Harry Potter belongs to JK Rowling. I own nothing.

-Chapter Start-

She was floating away as fast as she could. She had been separated from Caitlyn when Veigar used his Event Horizon. She tired to help, but Caitlyn yelled at her to run, so she did. She was sure she has lost him by now, but, she had heard the notification of Caitlyn falling. She was just about to leave the jungle, and get back to her lane, when she saw it, Karthus' Requiem glow around her. She quickly played Aria of Perseverance, sure it would save her. She had to hold out, and wait for Caitlyn to return. Suddenly, just as Requiem was about to strike, she saw Veigar's Primordial Burst flying at her. Requiem and Primordial Burst hit her at the same time, and everything started to fade, a sign she was being pulled back to base.

Then the pain came.

Her eyes shot open, and her mouth opened wide in a silent scream, as she glowed. Veigar came out of the jungle, staring wide eyed. Something was wrong. He watched as she glowed brighter, before suddenly being knocked back by an explosion. All that was left was her Etwahl. The exhibition match was quickly stopped, and the search began. She was soon pronounced dead, when Karthus sadly informed them he could not locate her soul.

From that point forward, Sona Buvelle, Maven of the Strings, was dead.

She awoke with a start, from the dream she hadn't had in years. The dream of her last moments in her past life. The young, reborn, Sona sighed quietly to herself. There was no point dwelling on the past. Yet, she couldn't help but remember what happened after her death.

After the pain and darkness, Sona had awoken to more pain. When the pain stopped, she quickly realized she was in a cage, no, crib, and that she somehow become a baby. Looking out of the crib, she could see what appeared to be a destroyed nursery, and the body of a redheaded woman on the ground in front of, what she now assumed, to be her crib. Sleepyness suddenly started to hit her, and as she started to drift off, she could barely make out a black haired man walk into the room.

Thus began a long 10 years. She was once again an orphan, as she soon found out the woman she saw was apparently her mother in this life, and as she was now at her aunt's, though she used the term loosely, she had assumed her father was dead too. She was slightly disappointed to find she was once again mute in this life, which didn't help the seemingly unfounded dislike her relatives she now lived with had for her. They had never hit her, or, in her uncle's case, done, worse things to her, but, living under a staircase was not fun. Nor was being their, in essence, servant.

Soon her aunt, Petunia, was rapping on the door.

"Up! Get up! Up!" Petunia yelled.

Sona let out another silent sigh, and knocked back on the door to let her know she was up. She heard her aunt walk away, and quickly got dressed. She headed out to the kitchen, to find her aunt setting a pan on the stove, and starting some bacon.

"I want you to look after the bacon, and don't you dare let it burn. I want Duddy's birthday to be perfect." her aunt snapped as she walked out of the kitchen.

Sona looked to the huge pile of gifts that covered the table. 'Dudley's birthday, how could I forget that. Well, least I get a day away from them.' She thought to herself as she watched the bacon.

Her life had changed so much since she died and was reborn as Sona Potter. That last bit she didn't find out until she entered school. While never spoiled, she was brought up in a wealthy family, and on high society rules. Suddenly being thrust into the position of poor, abused child, was quite jarring. She knew if she hadn't had all her memories, she would be much worse off. She missed her Etwahl. But, it was probably a good thing it hadn't somehow found it's way to her, like it always used to. Who knows what her "family" would have done to it. Or worse, what her Etwahl would have done to them...

She was drawn out of her musings by her uncle, Vernon, entering the kitchen, and him giving his usual greeting, a sneer and, "That stupid hair." He, of course referring to her long, yellow tipped, blue hair. They had tried in the past to die it black, and cut it short, but, somehow, Sona would always turn it back to her original length, and colors. She'd always get locked in the cupboard for it, but, it was worth it to keep her hair. She wasn't quite sure how she did it, since she had only been able to use magic in the past with her Etwahl. Especially the outfit changes she would sometimes do inside, and sometimes outside, League matches.

Dudley soon came storming into the kitchen, as Sona was starting the eggs, and began to count his presents.

"Thirty-five, thirty-six. Thirty-six? Thats 2 less than last year!" Dudley yelled out.

Sona silently snorted to herself. 'I'm surprised he can count that high, or do the math.'

"You forgot Aunt Marge's gift dear, right under the big one from Mommy and Daddy" Petunia replied.

"Fine, thirty-seven." 'Again, I'm amazed he can do the math' Sona thought, though inching away as she could see the Dudley tantrum coming on. One her aunt could see too.

"Well get you 2 more presents when we're out then Duddykins, ok?" she said in an effort to calm him.

He paused and replied, "Two more presents, so I'll have, thirty, um, thirty..."

'Yep, was too good to be true" Sona thought, as her aunt told Dudley, "Thirty-nine, sweetums."

"Oh." Dudley said as her plopped down and grabbed the nearest gift.

Vernon chuckled, "Little tyke, wants his money's worth 'Atta boy, Dudley." He ruffled the boy's hair. As Dudley opened his gifts, containing things Sona new she had had better versions of in Runeterra, the phone rang, which Petunia quickly answered. Sona was quietly eating her food, when her aunt came back, looking angry and worried.

"Vernon, Mrs. Figg broke her leg, she can't take the girl." nodding her head in Sona's direction. Dudley's mouth dropped in horror, and Sona frowned. While Mrs. Figg's place wasn't the nicest, she liked getting away from her so called "family" and liked hearing stories about Mrs. Figgs past. It was more interesting than most would think.

"Now what do we do?" Petunia said glaring at Sona, like she had caused this.

"We could phone Marge." Vernon suggested.

"Don't be silly, she hates her." Petunia reminded him.

"What about your friend, what's her name... Yvonne?" Vernon asked.

"On vacation." Petunia replied.

Sona pulled out the small notepad they had, reluctantly, got her so she communicate, and wrote, How about I stay here?

Her aunt grimaced and said, "And come back to a destroyed home? I think not." Sona silently scoffed when they looked away, and thought, 'Like I'd do something so childish.'

"I guess, we could bring her with," Petunia said slowly, "and leave her in the car."

"No, that car is new, I'm not leaving her in there alone." Vernon replied with slight anger.

Dudley began to spout tears, very fake tears, and cried, "I...don't...want...her...t-t-to come!"

Petunia flung her arms around him, and told him, "Oh Dinky Duddydums, I won't let her ruin your special day!" As he shot Sona a stupid grin through his mothers arms. Just then the doorbell rang.

"Oh goodness, they're here!" Petunia cried as she hurried to get the door. Dudley's friend, Piers Polkiss walked in, with his mother, as Dudley quickly stopped his false tears, and ran to greet him. Sona was reminded of Twitch when ever she saw him, like Vernon and Dudley reminded her of and ugly Gragas, and mini Gragas, respectively.

Soon, Sona was stuck in the back sit of the car with the two, on her way to the zoo. She'd rather be back home, in the cupboard, working on her sketches of her old outfits. Ones she hoped to one day use to get them remade. Before they left, Vernon had pulled he aside, and warned her, "No funny business, or you'll be in that cupboard til Christmas." She gave him a deadpan stare, and nodded.

On the way there, she had to deal with the occasional poke from Dudley, and listening to her Uncle complain about all sorts of things, the most recent being motorcycles when one roared by. She thought back to her one band mate, Mordekaiser, who had showed her his motorcycle, the one thing he cared about as much his mace. She sighed silently to herself again. 'I miss my old life...'

The soon arrive at the zoo, where Dudley and Piers got chocolate ice cream at the entrance, and she got a cheap lemon pop cause the kind woman selling them asked if she wanted one. She was happy to get one, she loved lemon flavored things.

'Maybe today won't be too bad after all.' She thought as the walked behind her family.

She should have known better.

It happened after lunch, when they were in the reptile house. She had seemed to have gained a peculiar ability in this life, the ability to communicate with snakes, similar to the way she used to be able to communicate with summoners in her old life. She discovered the ability one day when she was gardening the yard, and found a small garden snake. They had a lovely conversation, before she had been called in to make dinner. She had talked to the snake a few more times, before it had to move on cause of winter. She missed little Cyra.

Dudley had quickly found the largest snake in the place, one that seemed to be asleep, and he quickly got mad at it.

"Make it move!" He whined at his father. Vernon knocked on the glass, causing Sona to glare at him, and point at the, Please do not knock on the glass sign. Vernon of course ignored her and said sign. Dudley soon groaned, "This is boring." and moved away.

Sona stayed at the glass, and quietly thought to the snake. 'That happens a lot, huh?'

The snake looked up at her, surprised, and thought back, 'Wasssss that you?'

She nodded, and the snake moved closer to the glasses, staring at her. She was about to explain, when she heard a yell of, "DUDLEY! MR DURSLEY! COME AND LOOK AT THE SNAKE! YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT IT'S DOING!" causing her and the snake to jump, and look to the side. She quickly saw it was Piers that yelled it, and watched as Dudley waddled over.

"Out of the way, freak." he said as he hit Sona in the ribs, knocking her to the ground harshly. She glared up at him, and next thing anyone know, Dudley and Piers, who had their noses pressed to the glass, were falling through where it used to be, into the snake inclosure. Sona's eyes widened, as the snake slithered out, and started heading towards the exit. It playfully snapped at people who began screaming and running, and she heard it say, "Thanksssss amigo, sssssee you later." and disappeared. She slowly looked over to the inclosure, to see the glass had reappeared, Dudley and Piers crying and pounding on the glass, Petunia screaming and hitting the glass too, and a furious Vernon heading her way.

Her only thoughts, 'Well darn it...'

Things blurred by, and next thing she knew, they were home, with Vernon only being able to get out, " .Now."

She silently sighed as she lay in the dark cupboard. 'I don't know how I did it, but, I know I somehow made that glass disappear. I know I still have my magic, that my Etwahl let me use, but, I could only use it with my Etwahl. Unless, something is different about this universe.' She sighed again. 'I have got to get answers...'

She soon drifted off to sleep, unknowing of how very soon she was going to get those answers.

Author Note Stuff:

Hey everyone. Yep, I'm back, with a new story, a League of Legends/Harry Potter crossover, with my favorite champion Sona! Not sure how well I'm doing, but, I'm hoping it's going much better than my past stories. I've learned a lot since I last attempted to do any writing like this, and hope it helped. I'm not gonna make any promises on when I'm going to update, but I'm going to try to make sure it's not months at a time in between them. Also,I will be taking some creative liberty with stuff, mainly Sona's abilities, and a bit with her personality. I will try to make it as much her as I can, but, do remember, she was technically raised in high society, while she would be nicer than most, she still has some of that stuff ingrained in her. Also, I'll be giving her some abilities from the Harry Potter verse, one being quite obvious, and I had to mess with a bit to get to work, seeing as it's an important part of the second book. I wasn't sure how I was gonna work around the Parseltounge thing, with her being mute, but I came up with her being able to speak it with mental abilities, with only snakes and parseltounge related things. And if anyone can guess what other ability I plan on her having, well, you'll get an internet cookie. Also, those wondering about her Etwahl, I have plans for that, don't worry. But, you'll have to wait a few books to find out those plans. Also, I'm not actually sure on a good title, so, the one I have right now, is a place holder, if anyone can suggest one I like, I'll use it. So, for now, Hatter, out.
