Rachel Berry was stranded at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California. There was a bad storm and all flights were delayed or cancelled. So Rachel sat on a seat looking at her plane outside that was parked until the storm passed. Just great, she thought.
As if Rachel's life couldn't have gotten worse. How fast she through all of her dreams away on a pipe dream. She threw away years of planning for New York and Broadway. She had it all and lost it. How she was to get it back she hasn't a clue. Tears slipped from her eyes.
She hasn't been the same since Finn Hudson, her one true love had passed away. She felt that once he died, he took a piece of her with him. Soon she will be back in Lima, Ohio and figure her life out. She had heard Blaine, Sam, and Mr. Schue were back with new jobs. Another passed her mind that she hasn't thought of in ages...Sebastian Smythe.
Sebastian Smythe and Rachel Berry had been show choir enemies and at one point former loves. Many didn't know about that. She didn't want the backlash she got when she dated Jesse St James. Also there was the issue of Sebastian's sexuality. He hated labels. She knew he cares for her, but he didn't fight hard enough for her and she found herself back in the arms of Finn Hudson. Sebastian Smythe was snarky and cunning, but he showed his sweet side only to Rachel. The parts she fell in love with. He was smart, sexy, and loving. Rachel was lost in thought when she felt someone approach her from behind. No couldn't be...could it?

Rachel: Sebastian Smythe?
Sebastian: Well hello, Streisand Jr. Still beautiful as always.
Rachel: Well still as sarcastic as always.

Rachel: What are you doing here?
Sebastian: I am heading home but looks like that won't happen anytime soon. And what about you? I saw your show, they made a mockery of you. You are better than that.
Rachel: I lost my jobs, college drop out, and an almost widow.
Sebastian: I heard about Hudson, I'm so sorry.
Rachel: Thanks. I'm heading home for my redemption and get life back.
Sebastian: I've missed you.
Rachel: *sigh* Obviously not enough. You didn't fight for me.
Sebastian: Would it have made a difference, Rach?
Rachel: We were different back then.
Sebastian: Do we have a chance? Do you still love me? There's got to be a reason we ended up at this airport together.
Rachel: Why are you going to Ohio?
Sebastian: Dad has a job offer in his law office for me.
