Is this considered angst? I don't think so... oh well I will just put it under angst.

Here is my entry for the writing contest. Enjoy~

The rain had already begun when he woke up at 6. The soft pitter patter song echoed through his empty house. Kyle did the usual; get ready for another day of work. He didn't have to water any crops today so he directly went to his barn to brush his monsters. He decided to take along Nim, his silver wolf with him to the dungeons to check out the crops he had grown. At Trieste Forest his grass was still growing after being cut the day before. The strawberries were ready and Kyle made a mental note to give on to Alicia when he was done. At Padova Mountains, the Daikon Radish seeds Yue had given him still haven't finished growing yet. How does it take for these things to grow? The Hot-Hot fruits were just beginning to sprout though. Messhina Valley's sweet potatoes were ready and Kyle spent a fair amount of time harvesting them along with the spinach for Jake. Finally at Blessia Island his corn and tomatoes weren't ready and neither were the eggplants. The cucumbers were and Kyle got a decent harvest. When he finished Kyle sent Nim back to the barn because the rain was getting harder. The town square was lonely when Kyle got there. There was nobody just a lonely request board with no requests. For a while Kyle just looked around. This weather was always so lonely to him. No one was ever outside when it rained and Kyle often felt a bit of loneliness whenever he entered some of the houses. As Kyle dropped by all the houses he couldn't help notice that none of them seemed to notice the rain.

" Why hello Kyle."

" Hello Ray, how are you doing?" Kyle simply smiled as he entered the clinic.

" Fine thank you. Hey Kyle, have you ever thought of marriage?" Ray seemed to always ask the same question. And as always Kyle responded " No."

" As expected. We are still too young to be thinking about things like marriage." The same reply again huh...

Kyle said hello to Dorothy and Natalie before heading to the Pumpkin General Store to visit Douglas and Mana.

They must of lived here long enough to not care anymore. As Kyle climbed the steps of his house he couldn't help but wish that today had been sunny. Sunny days always brightened up his mood.
