The Maze of Bones, so much like life,

Dark and damp and cold -

One False Note is all it takes

And suddenly your eyes are old.

The Sword Thief steals in

And smuggles out your life -

From Beyond the Grave you scream your pain

To those who are alive.

The Black Circle around your eye

Shines like a battle scar;

You're In Too Deep inside your lies

To remember who you are.

The Viper's Nest waits patiently

To send the venom through your veins,

The Emperor's Code on the wall says,

"The price of selfish gain."

Storm Warning flashes o'er

The jigsaw puzzle sky;

Into the Gauntlet you march,

Believing in a lie.

Vespers Rising take your flame

And snuff it like a candle,

While The Medusa Plot begins

To look like too much to handle.

A King's Ransom is to be paid

Or the lucky seven die

In The Dead of Night -

And you know that you will cry.

The plan seems Shatterproof,

But you know that is a lie.

Trust No One escapes your throat;

Tear stains paint your eyes.

The Day of Doom is coming,

There's Nowhere to Run;

This thing is Unstoppable,

But fight until you're done.

A/N: Before you say anything, yes, I know it's not very good. XD I actually wasn't planning on posting it, but I finally read it enough to the point that I actually began to like it and felt it was good enough to post. What are you going to do, am I right?

I'm sorry I didn't include The 39 Clues or Cahills Versus Vespers in the poem, but it was kind of hard to place. This was just a fun little challenge for me to see if I could do all the book titles - I hadn't even planned on doing Unstoppable, but when I got to the end and realized I could easily place it, I decided, "Eh, why not?"

So... yeah. Poetry. Not my forte. I never do it. Like, ever. So go easy on me with the criticism, unless you've got a tip or two. XD

Hope you enjoyed it!
