A/N: This is just something I made up last night and when reading this, I go by the saying I learned in creative writing class: "Poetry is sound leaning toward meaning rather than the manipulation of meaning." So I know, it might be a little hard to get the full meaning of my poem, it's just here to enjoy, so don't explode or anything about it. And do I really need a disclaimer? Because I'm pretty sure you already know that I don't own Calypso or Davy Jones. Anywho, here it is.

Calypso

Fire blazes, thunder roar

Breaking tide upon the shore

Oceans churn and winds are howling

Fall upon the seaside lore

Bound by neither man nor chain

Casting down the tears of rain

Sea storms rise at my command

I, the goddess, am man's bane

Then I gave my heart away

And so did he, so cast astray

The mortal man called Davy Jones

Who came upon the sea that day

I saw not what the future brought

Of man and goddess, havoc wrought

Now bound by lies and traitor's blood

Through lies and cunning, freedom sought

The pirate lords, be nine in all

Gathered by the hangman's call

To loose the bonds of mortal flesh

So I allow the heavens fall

To seek revenge on whom I love

For me, to him he knows not of

The skies that break, all with my heart

The stars obscured in cloud above

His death a thousand pains within

An anger, not by close a win

He sank into my ocean depths

And paid in full for his soul's sin

The sea, it calms; the skies grow clear

The stars are left to only hear

The notes of song come from the deep

Of mourning pass by far or near
