It was a beautiful morning in the Unova region. The sun creeped through the huge amount of oak trees and the wind gave off a crisp yet gorgeous breeze.
Ash had rushed off early morning to call Misty and still hadn't returned.
Cilan stood between his two tables as he tossed fruit pancakes into the air. Iris sidled up to him, twiddling her thumbs anxiously.
'Hey Cilan?' she took a deep breath. 'Do you like anyone at the moment? As in like like?'
Cilan put his frying pan down and put his hand to his chin, making Iris's heart thump with love.
'Yes, indeed I do Iris.' he replied, his pale cheeks turning slightly rosy.
'What does she look like? Is she pretty?' she questioned her crush.
Cilan clutched his heart lovingly and sighed.
'Oh yes, she's extremely pretty. Beautiful in fact.' he began. 'She has the most amazing skin colour and gorgeous purple hair...'
Iris's normally lovely face turned bitter.
'Is it Burgundy?' she spat.
Cilan chuckled nervously.
'No it is not Burgundy.' he replied before tweaking his bow tie demurely. 'The girl has the most amazing dark skin, long purple hair, gorgeous soil coloured eyes...'
Iris cut him off by suddenly locking her lips to his. When they pulled away, Cilan pulled her close.
'She's also an amazing kisser.' he whispered into her ear.'
