Unexpected love

He he he how's it going bros my name is peeewdiepie... jkjk for those of you who have read my other series The adventure of Sly and are waiting for the next chapter I'm really sorry but as you probably know by now I am terrible with action so it will be a while before I release a chapter for that. On the other hand if you haven't read my other series and are just here for a keys to the kingdom fanfiction welcome. Also this may contain spoilers for the end of the series.

It has been several months since the army nuked the hospital and the radiation has started to die down as well. People are now able to go outside but the quarantine is still in place so they have to be in by seven. Despite that though not many people leave their homes. Leaf and I go and sit outside every now and then.

Leaf and I were sitting in the living room watching a bit of T.V. when Leaf said "hey Arthur want to go sit outside it's getting a bit stuffy in here."

I thought about it for a moment then smiled at her and said "sure I'm getting a little tired of watching the news anyway." we got up Leaf turned off the T.V. and we went out to Sylvie's (I think that's her name if it isn't I'm sorry) back yard where she had a few chairs on her porch.

A light wind started to blow and it felt nice since it was a little warm. We sat down and just stayed like that for awhile content to just let time go by. Then Leaf suddenly said "Arthur do you miss it?"

"miss what?"

"the house, the keys, the power... Suzy."

"well I'm going to miss everyone Fred, Dr. Scamandros, Sunscorch... Suzy. But I don't need the keys or anything else I will be sad that I won't be able to see everyone but I've still got my brothers and sisters I got my dad... I've got you."

she sat there for a moment just staring at the sky then she sighed and said "Arthur... there's something I want to tell you." my heart started beating faster as she said that and deep down I started to hope that she would say what I'd been yearning to say for awhile now. "Arthur... I... I love you and even though you probably don't feel the same way I had to say it."

I looked at her and saw that she was crying. She then stood up and started walking towards the door. I quickly got up and before she got to the door I grabbed her hand. She turned to me and I kissed her. Her eyes registered shock at first but she slowly closed them. Her lips felt warm and soft and there was the slight taste of apples from her chap stick. She put her arms around me and pulled me in closer and into a deeper kiss. I wanted to stay like that for longer but the need to breathe made me separate my lips from hers.

I looked into her eyes and saw pure happiness and joy in them and she had a smile on her face and that made me smile as well and I said "I love you too Leaf."

then from the second story window I heard Sylvie say "you better keep that thing in your pants boy."

Leaf then said "Sylvie.." but before she could get more out Sylvie walked away from the window laughing.

After a moment Leaf and I started chuckling. Then Leaf rested her head on my shoulder and said "why didn't you tell me before?"

"because I wasn't sure if you felt the same way... I mean we've only known each other a few months and.." I was cut off as she kissed me again and I complied just enjoying the moment.

She then hugged me tighter and said "don't ever leave me Arthur."

I looked deep into her eyes trying to convey all my love and affection for her in that single stare and I said "i wont ever leave you... I promise."

hey guys how did you like it hopefully it wasn't too bad once more I'm sorry that I'm so late on updating Sly but what can I do I'm bad with action. Also sorry this is kinda short. Well until next time try to get out more lol jk.
