Jr sat alone in his hospital bed alone. He was lonely in the quiet of the room. The only sound he heard was of the beeping of the machines. He sighed and looked over at his cast. He wishes he didn't have it, but having people sign it and draw on it was fun. But there was only one thing he wanted right now. He wanted Grace.

Grace was the little girl he met at the park one day. He laid his eyes on her and never took them off her. She giggled and he instantly had a crush on her. She made him sleepless and happy. When she smiled back he knew she liked him too.

As he sat alone in the room he started to think about her. He wanted to see her so bad. Just as he thought this a tiny knock was at his door. He looked over to see who it was and he smiled wide.

"Grace" He exclaimed. She smiled and walks over to him holding a balloon.

"Hi Jr. I got you a balloon" She handed it to him.

"Thanks. Sit next to me" The smile on his face still strong when she scooter closer to him. "Want to sign my cast" She nodded and began drawing a soccer ball. She knew he loved football. "I love it thanks Grace"

"Your welcome" She sighed her name on the cast and looked at him. "Does your arm hurt?"

He nodded. "Yeah but it feels better now that you're here" He grinned at

her.

"I'm glad I can help"

"Grace?" Jr looked at her with a nervous look on his face.

"Yes?"

" I …was wondering if you wanted to be my girl…girlfriend" He stuttered and looked at her nervously.

"Of course I want to be girlfriend" She leaned over and gently kissed his cheek. Jr blushed and kisses her cheek.

The rest of that afternoon the two kids spent the whole time talking and cuddling. Jr was finally happy he was with Grace, and he also didn't care about his cast. In fact he was kind of happy it was broken.
