Autumn would always be Yoongi's favorite season. There was just something about the leaves crumbling beneath his feet and cool breeze against his pale skin that he could never get enough of.
For a man who wants to be born as a rock in his next lifetime, he went on a ton of walks particularly in Autumn. It calmed him mostly but also served as a reason to get himself out the house. Ever since Bts disbanded he felt that a part of him was perhaps missing. Yoongi was haunted by his happy memories with them. He often woke at night heaving through his corrupted lungs. Jungkook often told him not to smoke and that's what he missed about them most, the way they always looked out for each other, the same way a family would. For Yoongi Bts was his family. It wasn't his idea though, to disband, after the death of Taehyung things began to go downhill. There were never-ending arguments, doors slammed on each other's faces and well attempts at suicide. Bighit thought it best for them to disband and to the boys it seemed like the most logical thing to do.
Taking long walks in the park just out of the city of Seoul was pure bliss to him especially now in May. He went there every evening and just as the sun began to set, he would pull out his notepad and wright lyrics. It seemed that even after he quit his career he still could not stop writing. Namjoon may have rubbed off on him. That hard-working and cheerful spirit he always had seemed to often make Yoongi feel better. They bonded together over their dreams of being great musicians and just when it was about to become a reality their closest friend was hit by a damn truck.
And the reason for his death was because he wanted ramyun and instead of Yoongi telling Tae that going out at 2am to buy noodles was a bad idea, he lightly laughed and brushed it off. Blaming himself for Taehyung's death became an everyday thing and the walks were the only things that got his mind off it.
As Yoongi decided he would take his walk earlier on the 25th of May 2017 something happened. He walked towards a faded green bench and just when he was about to sit, his eyes fixated on a certain brown haired girl. she was absolutely beautiful and by the guitar pick chained around her neck he knew that they shared the same interests. He looked for a girl that he could share the things he loved with. He decided that would be the moment where he would speak to her and take her out because he was tired of wasting opportunities. He's been alone for so long it felt as if he was on the run. He walked towards her and just as he reached her bench, his phone vibrated in his back pocket. He unlocked it to view his message and the words that stared back at him caused his entire world to freeze.
"Jeon Jungkook had been in a accident".
writer's note: fall is usually around September but where I'm from it's around May. I did base most of this on the "love yourself" highlight reels and the date that Yoongi appeared was on the 25th of May.
