I know I know I should have uploaded this yesterday but i was not online at all yesterday so yea... but that doesn´t stop me from writing this one shot!
One year, exactly one year has passed since Hamato Yoshi´s life has changed completely and has been blessed with four precious boys. These four boys were special not only because they were mutant turtles but because they were his boys. Leonardo with only one year of age has already demonstrated being responsible, brave and a good big brother, Raphael even though being hot tempered has also demonstrated being brave and always protecting his brothers in many situations, Donatello was by far the most curious and intelligent of the four always wanting to know everything and Michelangelo was always very happy and lighted up the lair with his laughter and kind hearted actions.
Splinter meditated in the living room as his boys kept sleeping in their shared room, which wouldn't be long until one of them woke up, he stood up and headed to the kitchen, getting the presents he had hid in a cabinet a few weeks ago for the boys, which weren´t much since he couldn't go up to the surface for supplies, but he was sure that the boys would love their gifts, he had also found a rather large bag of cookies which was unopened an decided to give them cookies for breakfast, he set five plates on the table and looked at his rather small and simple decorations and smiled. He made way to the boys' room and woke them up, and carried them into the kitchen and set them down on their chairs. Leo raised his hand.
¨Yes Leonardo?¨
¨Wut´s all this?¨ Leo asked innocently, Splinter smiled.
¨This my sons is a gift to all of you since you all now have one year of age¨ Splinter said getting the cookies and equally handing them cookies, they all stared at them questionably.
¨Come on, try them¨ Splinter said, Mikey grabbed a cookie and examined it before throwing it into his mouth, his eyes lit up and began to eat the rest, seeing his little brother eating the cookies the rest started eating them. Mikey finished first and gleefully clapped his hands and jumped in his seat.
Everyone finished eating, and Splinter stood up.
¨ I have one more gift for you all¨ He said handing each of them a present, they didn't have to think twice to know what to do, Mikey unwrapped his present finding an old but well cared teddy bear, a box of crayons and a notebook with white pages, he smiled and giggled at the sight, hugging the bear, Leonardo opened carefully his present, finding an action figure of his favorite character in that cartoon he liked so much, it was missing an arm, but Leo smiled at is gift. Donnie opened his next, he found a magnifying glass which was a bit broken on one side but it still worked very well and a calculator, he took the magnifying glass and laughed as everything looked bigger with it, Raph tore the wrapping off and looked at the old remote control car that was inside he took it out, not knowing what to do. Splinter took the remote control.
¨Like this Raphael¨ Splinter demonstrated Raph how to play with the remote control car. Raph laughed happily as he saw the car run around the room.
Splinter smiled at the boys happiness, hoping that this would not be the last ¨mutation day¨.
