Title: Words to Regret

Summary: Puck says the wrong thing to the wrong person.

A/N: Well this is the story that goes along with No Can Be The Greatest Answer. You'll understand if you read No Can Be The Greatest Answer first.

Puck got up from his chair, located in his home office. His usual Puckasaurus demeanor had vanished, and he was thoroughly pissed that his boss would have him work on a day that she knew he had off. Now he was in between the restroom and his office trying finish before it was to late.

Puck had set the day aside for something, but for the life of him he still could not remember. He just guessed that he'd remember when the time came. Once back in his office Puck sat down to finish the last of his paperwork, but just when Puck was going to fax it he heard a knock on the door.

Puck grumbled as he looked through the peep hole and a middle aged woman stood there. She continued to knock, her knocks getting louder and harder when he didn't answer.

'Oh, Lord it's another one of those Jehovah's witness.' Puck thought as he grumbled and swung the door open. The woman gaped at the man who towered over her with a scowl on his face. "Why don't you stop beating on my door so much and beat on this dick!?" Puck grabbed at his crotch in defiance.

The woman opened her mouth in shock, Puck smirked in satisfaction, until he caught sight of someone. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Mercedes gaping in shock. 'Please don't tell me today was the day that I was supposed to meet her mom,' Puck smacked himself on his forehead.

"Shit," Puck's eye widened as he realized that he had said that out loud. Sarah Jones finally came down from her deep shock and stormed away barely missing Puck with her purse. "Wait ...um please... it was mistake... I..I didn't mean to." Puck ran after Mercedes after and caught hold of her arm. "Mercedes please believe me I...I... just .. it was a mistake." Mercedes turned around and looked at Puck before sighing.

"I'll talk to you later," Puck let her go knowing that she wouldn't be back. The woman loved her mom more than anything, because Sarah was the only parent she had left. So when they broke up it was no surprise.

"Puck you know I like you and all, but when it comes to me and my momma you know I don't play." Puck faked a tear and hugged Mercedes anyways.

"Were still friends right?" Mercedes swatted at Puck.

"Of course we are, I would miss your sluttyness if we stopped being friends," Mercedes smiled as they embraced each other again.
