Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha by any means. Although like most of you I wish I did. *moans with displeasure*
This is my first non InuyashaXKagome fan fiction. I decided to write one about Kouga and Ayame instead. Hope you all enjoy it. Please once again Read, Rate, Review, and Enjoy.
LUNAR RAINBOW PROMISES: One-shot about Kouga and Ayame's promise
Ayame POV:
I'll never forget the words he told me that day. I was running far, far away from some bird like demons. They wanted to attack me and rip apart my flesh and bones. I was so afraid and so alone. It was then that he appeared; my knight in wolfs fur. He was lightning quick, strong, brave, and not to mention handsome. His brown hair whipped in the wind as he took each demon out one by one. It didn't even seem like that much of a hassle to him. In my eyes he was indestructible. When my knight had slain all the demons, he came after me. I was hiding deep in the hollow hole of an oak tree. My knees pressed tightly up against my chest and eyes leaking salty tears. Kouga of the wolf demons came to my rescue, and offered me his hand. I took it graciously as he carried me bridal style away from the bodies of the dead demons and through the rain that drenched our bodies. His chocolaty-brown eyes offered me such warmth and his muscles comfort and support. I was falling for this beautiful demon; falling hard and falling fast. It was then under a Lunar Rainbow that he told me once I was done my training in the mountains I would become his wife. My heart soared at this thought. I would become my knight in wolf's fur wife. I would never forget those words. They would remain with me for the rest of my life and all of eternity.
Kouga POV:
She reminds me every time I see her of that promise I made oh so long ago. Ayame was just a child back then when I told her this. She was tiny, scared, and alone in the middle of the woods being attacked by ferocious bird like demons. I had spotted this little red headed girl as she climbed into the hollow hole of an oak tree to escape the brutal attack being placed upon her. I felt it being my duty to shed some light on the matter and help the poor thing by destroying the demons that tormented her. With a few jabs from my balled fists and some kicks from muscular legs the demons were vanquished. When the deed was done I found the girl inside the oak tree covered in blood, sweat, and tears. Her teal eyes were over come with a flood of salty tears that cascaded down over her lids and onto her cheek bones. Doing what felt natural I picked up the wolf demon girl and carried her away from the site that caused her so much pain. And caught in the moment I guess I made her the promise that I would someday take her to be my wife. That is after she got a little stronger. I would try like hell over the years to forget the promise I made to her, but it stuck with me eternally. Like the Lunar Rainbow a promise like that would only come from me once in a life time.
Well, that was it. Kind of sweet hu? They are talking about the day that Kouga saved Ayame from the bird demons and told her that she would be his wife. This is in their own perspectives. Well, I hope you enjoyed it. PLEASE RATE AND REVIEW! Thanks for all your support.
