The Doctor looked down at the sleeping form of his companion, Rose. He smiled to himself. Fell asleep in the Library again. He shook his head, then shook her gently.
"Rose." He whispered. She slept on. He shook her again, a little more forcefully. "Rose." He said louder. Rose looked up, groggily. "Whaa? What's going on?" She asked,
shaking her head to rid herself of the sleep over her eyes. The Doctor smiled down at the woman who had stolen his hearts, though he wouldn't admit it to her. "You fell asleep
in the Library again. That's the third time this week." Rose grinned sheepishly and stood up, yawning. She looked at The Doctor. He looked different than normal. More... Pink
in the face. Wait a minute, was he blushing? "You all righ'? You look a bit Pink." She reached out and laid her hand against his forehead. "You don't feel hot." The Doctor
looked both uncomfortable and embaressed. He cleared his throat and moved away a bit, letting Rose's hand drop to her side. "I'm fine, just a bit hot is all." Rose started to
object saying "But you don't feel..." When The Doctor interupted her. "You should probably go to room and have a kip, we can just float around a bit." Rose looked confused,
but didn't argue. They went out of the Library and walked down the hall to her room in companionable silence. "So..." Rose started unexpectedly. "You were blushing." The
Doctor stopped and stared at her, pink starting to creep up onto his face. "What?" He asked. "I was not." Rose laughed, and looked him stright in the eyes. "Yeah, you were.
And you"re doing in now, too. Look." She grabbed a mirror hanging from the wall behind her and showed him his reflection. It was indeed blushing. He looked up from the
mirror, right at Rose. "All right. So I'm blushing. So what?" He tried to sound non-chalant, but behind that there was a hint of fear. Rose took a step back. "So what? Doctor,
there has to be a reason." she was half-smilinmg now. "People don't blush for nothing, and espicially not you." The Doctor looked at Rose, the woman whom he had loved
since the First day he had known her. He cleared his throat. "Fine. I'm blushing because..." He looked at the ground, not wanting to say it out loud for the fear he would drive
her away again. "Because?" Rose pressed quietly. "Because I love you!" He burst out, looking at her. Rose looked back at him, not believing what she had heard. That's not
what he said, is it? I'm just hearing what I want him to tell me. "Wha- What?" She stammered. The Doctor looked at her and took a small step forwards, his face
turning a bit Red in the process. "I said... that I love you." He whispered. Rose grinned and stepped forwards, flinging her arms around him and hugging him. "I love you too."
She whispered in his ear. She pulled away a bit, looking him straight in the eyes. Hesitantly, she leaned forwards and laid her lips against his. He was surprised, but didn't
pull away for a few seconds. He laid his forehead against hers and closed his eyes. "I'm glad." He whispered, and kissed her again.
