Chapter 1

School finally ended. Rushing out of the school doors, you sped towards the park. You promised the children to play with them, so you put your backpack down on a near by bench. You found the children near the woods having a snowball fight. You had a mischievous grin on your face and picked up some snow and made a snowball. You threw it at a little boy named Daniel and it hit him in the back. He picked up some snow and turned around.

"Okay, who threw that?" Daniel shouted throughout the park.

You hid behind a tree not too far from the kids. You peeked from behind the tree to see if Daniel was near you. He wasn't in sight so you turned around, and there he was! He through a snowball right in the face.

"I'm gonna get you!" You threatened Daniel as he ran to the other children as fast as he could, warning them.

You were about to chase him when a chilly breeze blew fast you. You held your coat up, keeping your cheeks and nose warm. You herd a chuckle behind you. Not a kiddish one, but in a teenage boy tone. Cautiously, you turned around to see who was there.

"Who's there?" You called out. Silence. You let out a sigh, thinking it was just your imagination. You herd the chuckle again. This time kinda annoyed, you turned around to see an odd - but good looking teenage boy. He was barefoot, had white hair and only wearing a hoodie and jeans.

"Wh-who are you?" You asked, slowly backing away.

He wore a perplexed look on his face and leaned on what seemed to be a long stick with a curve at the end. "You can see me?"

"Well, of course I can," You said, rolling your eyes. "You haven't answered my question yet." You slightly grinned.

"Me? I am Jack Frost, THE Jack Frost." He said, smiling and looking into your beautiful, shimmering (e/c) eyes.

You couldn't help but smile back, staring into his dreamy, nice blue eyes. Your stomach flipped and turned, because you get nervous around cute boys. Poof. A snowball hit you in the back. Before you could turn around, dozens of snowballs came flying in your direction. The big group of children ran towards you.

"Who's that?" A little girl named Ashley asked.

Jack's eyes grew big, astounded by the fact of little kids who could see him.

"I don't see anyone!" A boy spoke.

"Me neither!"

"He's right there!"

"Can't you see him?"

Before you knew it, the sound of children's silly arguments grew louder and louder.

"QUIET!" You yelled, a little louder than it meant to be. "Everyone, be QUIET! Whether you can see him or not, this is Jack Frost."

"THE Jack Frost!" Jack corrected.

You let out a small sigh, covered up by the sound of children's laughter.

"But what about the people who can't see him?" A little girl whined.

"Umm, well..." You said unsure of what to do, looking at Jack.

"Okay, let me explain." Jack spoke. "I am, a spirit. A guardian. The guardian of fun. Some people can't see me, because they don't believe in me."

The spirit blew a magical snowflake out of his hand, making the children chase it, bumping in to each other stubbornly. Both of you laughed at the cute little kids. Then looked at each other and caught each other's eye. Jack made sure the children were far enough away from the two of you, then kissed you lightly on the cheek.
