A\N: So I have to say I am totally loving Chicago PD so far and I really love Antonio and Laura together. I thought what she did in this weeks episode was super sweet and just shows how much the "Dawson" family really does value family. This is my post-episode one-shot about what I think happened after this episode "Chin Check"

Disclaimer: I do not own Chicago PD, NBC or Global

Perfect For Me

"Kids are asleep," Antonio walked into the kitchen and smiled as he watched his wife cleanup.

Laura turned around, "Did you make sure Eva brushed her teeth and set out her clothes for tomorrow and Diego-"

Antonio silenced her with a kiss; pulling away he caressed her cheek, "I got it babe," He gave her one of his famous smiles.

"Yeah," Laura returned the kiss, "You go to bed; I'll just finish up here and then-"

"Hey, hey," Antonio locked eyes with her, "That was a really nice thing you did tonight."

"She helped save our son Antonio," Laura responded as if it was no big deal.

"Yeah I know; it's just after the other morning I thought…."

"Yeah that was the plan; and by the way you reacted I did a pretty good job," She smirked.

"Babe," He continued to hold her gaze, "There is no other woman in the world I want; especially not ones I meet on the job. You know me better then that."

Laura nodded her head, "You're a good man Antonio Dawson. The best husband and the best father for our children I could ever ask for. I trust you."

"I thought so," Antonio grabbed a towel and began drying dishes.

"Ah, ah, ah," Laura swatted his hand away, "You don't hand dry these, they have to soak in hot water."

Antonio smirked, "I just can't resist getting you flustered."

Laura turned and glared at him, "Why is it on night you don't work I want you here and on night you work I want you on Pluto?

"Because you love me."

"Uh-huh."

"So if I can't dry the dishes what can I do?"

"What is it that your mother always says "Nunca deje que un hombre…. Something right?"

"Nunca deje que un hombre en la cocina a menos que quiera algo quemado. Especialmente Antonio.

"Yeah that's right; the one about you always messing everything up in the kitchen."

"Hey, hey: I'll have you know I did survive those few years I lived on my own before I met you.

"Uh-huh; on your mother's cooking."

Antonio placed to fingers on her chin and kissed her, "I love you but I need to re-teach you Spanish; You're the only one that doesn't know it."

Laura reached for the wet washcloth in the sink and swatted it against his chest, "The only words in Spanish I need to know are Vamos a ir a la cama."

"How did you-"

"I have my ways." She took off her gloves and led him upstairs.
