Yolei laughed as she decorated the tree with her best friends (and digidestined).
Davis threw some in his hair and yelled out, "Look! I'm Tina Turner!"
Ken laughed and took it back and put it on the tree. Yolei laughed some more, then clumsily dropped a wad of it on the floor. As she bent down to pick it up, she glanced at the blurry reflection showing Kari and TK.
She began to wonder..."Why is it that Kari found someone to be with... I mean, is there something wrong with me? I don't get it. I'm just like Kari, only smarter...no offense to her, but really. What's the deal? Its not like I don't ever get lonely."
Davis wandered off into the kitchen. Yolei didn't even notice as she continued to stare at the tinsel.
She continued to speculate, "I wonder if this tinsel could tell me who I'm supposed to be with. Maybe if I look really hard. Ugh! What am I talking about?! There's something wrong with me... Crystal ball tinsel? Of course, Matt looked into a lake and saw things, what's the difference between a lake and tinsel? Okay, a lot of things. But still."
Just then Ken appeared in the tinsel.
"Oh my God!" Yolei screamed. She jerked her head up and Ken laughed.
"What are you doing?!"
What was she doing? "I...I don't know..."
It all began to fit together now...Ken! Her and Ken! Why hadn't she thought of it before!
She picked up the tinsel and stood up. "Ken?" She stuttered.
Her brain raced "Shut up Yolei! Don't say it! You'll ruin everything!" She continued anyway, "I was wondering...What are you doing for Christmas?"
Ken scratched his head "Uh...nothing really. I don't even have a tree." He smiled sheepishly.
Yolei grinned back with delight. "Well, how would you like to spend Christmas...WITH ME!"
Ken chuckled nervously, taken by suprise by her abruptness "I-I'd love to."
Yolei's face lit up. "Perfect!"
Would it be reasonable to think the tinsel really did know all? Nahhhh... One can't help but wonder, though...
