had a dream about this last night. what is with me and killing off main characters? 'specially my favorite one. damn me and my sick mind. XD
Run, Run, Run
"Toph! Run!!" said Sokka running towards Toph. Toph was on her knees and palms. There were three arrows in her back and one just about 4 inches away from her heart. Blood stained her shirt. A lot of the blood was coming from her mouth though. Her vision was somewhat blurred due to the pain from the arrows and all the roots in the forest. She could still see clearly enough. Sokka was now in front of her, his back to her and his arms outstretched to the side. Sokka was bleeding from the side of h is head. Not from being wounded by the fire nation ambush, but by walking into a tree very hard two days ago. The wound had opened up.
"I said run!! Ill hold them off! Now go!! Sokka was standing in a way under a tree that you couldn't really see his face. Toph stood up. She stumbled slightly and stood behind Sokka.
"Im not going to run, im not one of those wimps who can die from a light arrow to the heart." She gave a chuckle but ended up having a coughing fit and spurted out more blood.
"Toph…..I know you're not a person who will run away easily if at all….but you have to trust me." Sokka turned around and faced Toph. His face full of concern and worry was seen openly. He put a hand to her shoulder. "Please….I don't want to see another person I love die by the hands of fire nation. Now go. Tell Aang and Katara we're being ambushed." This time Toph did as she was told.
'Wait a second….did he say…did he say…he loved me?' that just made Toph run faster to the camp. Her thoughts racing a mile a minute, she got to the camp and found Aang and Katara sitting around the campfire…kissing. "Hey! Love birds! Stop kissing and get to business! Theres an…a…a..."
"There's a what Toph?" asked Aang inquisitively. Toph wasn't looking to good. "Toph why are you so bloody? What happened!?" too late. Toph fell towards the ground due to blood loss. The last image in her head was that of Aang and Katara running to her.
The next day Toph woke up, her head hurt a lot but she was able to get up. Her wounds were healed and everyone went searching for leftover fire benders and Sokka. They didn't find fire benders but they did find Sokka….and lets just say,
Snoozles was snoozing for good.
