DARK DANNY SPLITS
Dan Phantom escapes the Fenton Thermos and goes after Danny intending to restore his dystopian future. They battle at Fentonworks and Jack appears and hits Dan with something that allows Danny to make him pass through the Fenton Ghost Catcher. Dan is separated into a 10-year older version of Danny Phantom and a 10-year older version of Vlad Plasmius. Because Vlad and his 10-year older self don't look so different and Jack still regards the Wisconsin Ghost a bigger threat than Danny Phantom since The Million Dollar Ghost, he teamed up with the two Dannys agains him and they send Plasmius through the Ghost Portal.
"Now, Danny Phantom," Jack says, "get yourself and your elder brother before I regret for not tearing you both molecule by molecule."
Danny takes a stunned future self to a remote place.
"He's alive." Future Danny exclaims. "My Daddy is alive."
"Why are you so happy?" Danny asks. "I thought you wanted him destroyed."
"That was Plasmius's influence." Future Danny explains.
"But Plasmius would never try to kill Mom." Danny says.
"When I freed him from his human self, I caused him to lose his feelings for her."
Future Plasmius arrives at the site of his former Wisconsin Mansion, only to find it destroyed (Eye for an Eye - Vlad was so busy with his revenge he never bothered to restore the mansion this time - he simply moved to Amity Park). He also finds a note left from Vlad. The note says "Moved to Amity park and became Mayor"
Future Danny learns Vlad became Mayor of Amity Park. "I'm feeling this future is gonna be worse than mine."
"I know the feeling so, what are you gonna do now you're free from Plasmius?"
"I have no idea." Future Danny answers. "Do you know what's to live in an alternate timeline that only exists because a minor detail from the past has been changed?"
Danny thinks about 'Masters of All Time'. "Yeah, I know."
A giant clock appears from nothing just like when Clockwork and Box Lunch appeared on Danny's house in TUE and Clockwork shows up. Clockwork gives them a device to erase people who only exist outside time (in that case, Future Danny and Future Plasmius) but, because Future Danny and Future Plasmius came together they can only be eliminated together.
Meanwhile, Future Plasmius overshadows Vlad. "Now that I've overshadowed my stupid past self I can kill both Danny's family and friends and he'll have no choice but help me taking over both Earth and Ghost Zone."
Vlad temporarily regainis control. "Can't you spare Maddie?"
"Shut up!!"
During the battle against Jack, Vlad once again tries to regain control over himself. "Ghost... Overshadowing... me."
"Don't worry, buddy. I'll save you."
Danny and FD use their powers to remove FP from Vlad. FD and FP merge back into Dan Phantom so Danny can erase him from the timeline. Jack them steals the device and tries to use it to kill Danny Phantom but it fails. Danny doesn't want to explain how the device works. "It already ran out of energy." He than takes it back and leaves.
In a press conference, Jack and Vlad say that, even tough Danny Phantom seemed to have saved the day, he probably had some sinister agenda. Danny looks sad from this comments and the story ends.
