"Ooh! What're those?" The loud child caught Roderich off guard.
"Hmm?" He turned his gaze towards the small child he was watching. Feliciano again pointed to the shelves. Roderich looked upon his collection, smiling softly.
"They're music boxes. Pretty, aren't they?"
Feliciano nodded vigorously.
"What's a music box?" He asked innocently.
"Why don't I show you?" Roderich said, flipping over the one in his hands. On the bottom was a small metal key and a sticker with a message.
'Лебединое озеро
Swan Lake - Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
I am hoping you will enjoy the melody!
Your friend, Ivan'
After commenting on the Russian ballet's music, Roderich had received a music box for his birthday. He turned the metal key a couple times, then flipped it right-side up. He spun it towards Feliciano, lifting the lid carefully.
As the music began to play and the ballerina began to spin, Feliciano looked on with amazement.
"Wow," he said, after it slowed to a stop. His face lit up with a smile. "That was so pretty! Do all of them sound the same?"
Roderich closed the box and placed it back in it's spot, high above and safe.
"Heavens, no," Roderich said," That would be so incredibly boring. They all have different melodies. It's much prettier that way."
Feliciano nodded in agreement. He looked up to the face of his companion.
"Can we listen to the rest of them?"
He grinned when Roderich nodded.
